Williams has had little pressure and certainly no expectations against Lincoln and also against Midtjylland - they'll be a lot more spotlight from the media / pundits etc in the build up to West Ham if he gets selected. Was playing in the Northern Conference this time last season so will be a massive step up and of course West Ham will no doubt target him due to his inexperience. Wijnaldum has played CB before - Klopp may opt to choose experience and protect Williams a bit but who knows - maybe he thinks he is ready.
I think Klopp's quote about Williams on Tuesday night was telling - they didn't know whether or not he would show any nerves..."but he didn't, so that was good news". Wouldn't surprise me if he gets more regular game time this season, easing him in gradually when circumstances allow.

By the sounds of it, it was the smaller clubs that voted against it as they thought it favoured the clubs with bigger budgets, hence them having more quality players on the bench.I think it was Burnley that didn't have a full bench during the previous lockdown and another club had two goalkeeper to make up the numbers.
