Both players slide in for the ball, as they should
Keeper dives in to smother as he should, even if Mane connects with the keeper it’s not a foul for me, Mane has every right to stretch for the ball and keepers are over-protected
Couldn’t see the foul on the defender either to be honest
Mane didn't get a touch - normally that is a clear foul. Problem is in that situation I think it was the defender who potentially stopped Mane getting a touch on the ball. Hard decision and understand why VAR sent it for an on-pitch review. Great pass by Shaq, and Jota looks class. Surely has to be a consideration to replace Bobby in the first team soon.

I turned 50 last weekend so different generation of football rules, but I just saw two players sliding in to challenge for a loose ball and the defender do very well to scoop it away, no foul either way.Great pass by Shaq, and Jota looks class. Agree Bobby still looks high quality but isn’t doing enough to affect the game. It’s all a bit - receive ball, hold it up well, lay it off. But he needs to have more goal threat, and so either score or create space for the other two

My thinking was basically anywhere on the pitch if you hit the player and don't touch the ball it's a foul, so add in the "protect the keeper"/more bias for the defending team in their own penalty areas in general it wasn't too surprising. Yes, Bobby's more like an attacking midfielder now, rather than a striker, given the lack of goals. So good to have someone who also knows where the net is - makes it harder to try and cover 3 dangerous strikers rather than just the other two. This isn't to take away anything from Bobby, but not sure he is good enough to be first choice these days.
I think you’re right.
At the moment Jota is doing everything Bobby can do but had that edge too, and is scoring important goals.
Some moderation is required though, Jota has just started and Firmino could get the edge back when he faces competition.
Having 4 now is great and what we were after for a while
