The arsenal team that have turned up today is the one we had against man united and then disappeared.
Not sure about that Everton were woeful….especially DA….he offers nothing for them. Atmosphere in the stadium was great despite the disappointment of last week. Might sound defeatist but Europa League is a better fit for this team…there is no way the club could have gone out and bought enough quality in enough areas to make us competitive in CL. Europa League will allow Tavares, Lakonga etc to play and get experience which is that Saka, ESR and Martinelli benefitted so much from.
Let’s hope they can get the right players in over the summer.

No, Europa is better than Europa conference or 8th and no europe, of course we'd have take Chumps league for the extra cash and to help recruitment and retention then get pumped first knock out stage- given we couldn't get a point at Brighton, Brentford and Palace... we don't deserve and didn't get Chumps league- Spurs and Toon we were out on our feet through not being able to rotate due to injuries and fire sale. But it's okay Edu says Arsenal did everything they could...
The notice of renewal notice is in with the 4% increase after years of frozen blah blah blah, the ROI has been poor but I guess we are the constant income stream.
Talking of maximising income this little nugget was tucked in on the end of the email, due to the unique way TV screws over fixtures I've used the Exchange service and get less than face value back minus another 10% fk you very much fee and then Arsenal sell at full face value plus booking fee natch, a fag packet calc gives them ~25% profit when sold rather than transferred, for which they charge a transfer fee... Not sure if using this as a proxy to weed out touts which still sell outside the Tube station in front of the Police.
"To build on the fantastic atmosphere this season and to ensure every seat at Emirates Stadium is full, we’re introducing a new approach for next season whereby if a Season Ticket Holder does not utilise their seat for 10 or more fixtures, they will not be offered the opportunity to renew for the 2023/24 season.
A seat will be considered ‘utilised’ for a fixture if a Season Ticket Holder:
• Attends in person
• Uses the Ticket Transfer service to transfer their ticket – provided the recipient attends the fixture
• Posts their ticket on Ticket Exchange (whether the ticket is sold or not) "

Can’t see Gabriel going anywhere unless for stupid money, with Saliba hopefully back we’ll finally have 4 decent centrebacks.
Also to be decided what happens with Hector…
Yeah he was already on zee list he was in bits playing his last game for his boyhood club and his #2 shirt not yes assigned but I can't see him being part of Arteta plansAlso to be decided what happens with Hector…

Oh and Tierney not in Scotland squad...not exactly a surprise, if he's been even a slight possibility Arteta would have thrown him on to finish him off.
Love Arteta wants so talk to Southgate about use of Saka by England when he mercilessly kept him on repeatedly when he was obviously shattered.

Hector has been a great servant, but it’s time to go home, hopefully the club give him a free transfer (with a sell on clause). Also to be decided what happens with Hector…

It's gotta be this pose, even the Utd fans loved it.
According to a report from The Sun, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has decided to promote Hale End wonderkids Omari Hutchinson, Miguel Azeez and Charlie Patino to the Gunners’ senior squad for next season.
Um Patino was on the bench and played a couple cup games so already there and being midfielders will I presume be for development in the cups assuming we stay in long enough.

Pepe out to cover Saka demands?
What does this mean?
We need to sell Pepe for transfer capital and remove his high wages so we can pay Saka more (Laca going will also help on the salary front). Saka (agent) know they have us over a barrel and I imagine the expectation that he will become top salary, especially when we have the likes of part-time Partey on £200k pw. They rumblings of a buy out clause is depressing but expected if we don't invest/ step up to Champs league level he has the skills to play for a team that can do that on a regular basis. What does this mean?
We aren't Toon and there will be an expectation to at least attempt to balance books given the losses.

I didnt realise Pepe was on such big money, (140k)!

Arsenal’s worst ever signing in my opinion when you combine everything together. Club record fee, wages and sporadic (I’m being kind) performances equals a huge disappointment. Hope they get shot of him in the summer.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
