Spurs in a fight to the death for 8th with Brentford hehe

I think Arsenal management team have given up on Rice and are going to sign Kante.
Almost as funny as losing a race with only one horse in it.

Spursy.

Hi all, my son got given a stadium tour as a "buyagift" thing for his birthday - just wondered if anyone else has done one and if so how you actually book it? When I click through the website it says they can't be booked in advance you just take your voucher to the stadium on the day....but how do you know what is an appropriate day? Don't want to trek it all the way to the Emirates to be turned away because there is an event on / too many other guests on the day etc.

They've made the website a bit hard to follow with various info on different pages but:
https://arsenaldirect.arsenal.com/tour-visitor-inf...

Stadium Tours are open 7 days a week except for Christmas Day. Due to stadium events there are days where the tour route may be impacted or tours are unable to operate. Please always check Opening Hours here before visiting Emirates for a tour.

No pre-booking of time and dates are required for those that have booked a Stadium Tour and Museum ticket, simply turn up on a day that suits within the three month validity period.

Our number is 020 7619 5000. Lines are open Monday-Friday 09.30-17.00

Up to date info on tours/ cancellations are actually here: but can always call above if want to double check
https://arsenaldirect.arsenal.com/tour/opening-hou...

Not done the tour as spend enough time in North Bank lower as it is, have fun.

Does it include the right to be rotated rather than run into the ground season after season? Hopefully Arsenal and Arteta can build and deliver him success rather than being another highly rated England player with limited, or no success other than a wall with your face put on it...

They are clear favourites at 7/5 as far as I can see? (Quick check of oddschecker)

We definately need to sign cover for Saka next season, he played for to much this season and was getting booted to hell when he did.

no way can he play champions league and league let alone the cups. needs good rotation next year. Martinelli and trossard on the left so we need the equivalent on the right

I've heard good things about some Reiss-Nelson guy we are trying to pin down with a long contract apparently...

I'd like to see Nketiah and Trossard in for Jesus through the middle more often as he's not really got the same disruptive play since back from ACL, hoping that he's just a getting back to 100% match fitness and confidence that it won't go again.

If Citeh win the FA cup we get to play them in the Community Shield apparently, early tester or destroyer of confidence match? Certainly hope we put on more than a show than we did last time...

Silly season is upon us nice and early...
We've opened with a bid of £69.6m allegedly for Rice, Man Utd and Bayern also interested
Opening bid for Galatasaray RB Sasha Boey, short of the 22m they want
Also after Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba
Very quiet rumbling after Maddison

Tierney is off to Toon again

Our scouting for Chelsea continues as they are now in for Cacieido
Mount is "leaning" towards Man Utd

BBC gossip pages were reporting rumour the plan is to sell as many as 14 current first team players this summer to bring in 8 new ones.

Not sure we have 14 current first team players but I'd guess at those below if you exclude Saliba in contract discussion

First team squad but out of favour likely/ may go
3Kieran Tierney
10Emile Smith?Rowe
14Eddie Nketiah- did a good job covering Jesus but not got a whiff since return??

"strong rumours"
34Granit Xhaka
16Rob Holding
5Thomas Partey

Loaners that could go/ are gone
Mari- Sold
Ainsley Maitland-Niles- think contract finishes at end of this season
Tavares- must have pissed in Arleta's hair gel- news rumbles being linked with West Ham
Lakonga- see Tavares
Cedric- coming back to "battle for his place"...can see being sold
Pepe- still a year left but talks of termination
Patino- wants first team football at 18, highly rated and did well at Blackpool
Auston Trusty-on loan B'ham, still feels like a business rather than Arteta move so likely loan or sold
Belogun- setting France on fire which was more than ever did in the matches saw him in...

Contract in discussion
12William Saliba
8Martin Odegaard

First team outsiders to go
18Takehiro Tomiyasu- needs a vet or to some buy some lucky charms as can't keep dipping in and out for a few games a season
21Fabio Vieira -needs to go on loan/ bulk up

Loaners likely to come back/ be loaned again?
Marquinhos
Brooke Norton-Cuffy
Tim Akinola
Arthur Okonkwo
Ovie Ejeheri
Mika Biereth
Marcelo Flores

Staying/ recent contract extension/ new signing/ in favour unlikely to go
1Aaron Ramsdale
6Gabriel
7Bukayo Saka
25Mohamed Elneny
11Gabriel Martinelli
19Leandro Trossard
35Oleksandr Zinchenko
20Jorginho
9Gabriel Jesus
24Reiss Nelson

The rest named as First Team squad
30Matt Turner
31Karl Hein
4Ben White
15Jakub Kiwior

Not sure if we would be that radical, the focus seemed to be on Saliba injury but weedy Vieira and dropping Partey who imho has been one of our best players protecting the back, breaking up opposition counters and pushing forwards was a bigger issue. I'm presuming there are some deals /looking for LB but we seem to be linked with Midfielders, RB and the odd forward...maybe not wanting to show Chelsea our hand again?

ETA Pepe/ Patino & then Reiss Nelson contract update...and all those loaners coming out the woodwork! Not even including most of the academy!

Not surprised in the least.

By my reckoning we probably need a striker, winger, central midfielder and a versatile defender plus a couple squad players at minimum.

Probably need to go: Pepe, Maitland-Niles, Tavares, Mari, Soares, Lokonga, Nelson, Runarsson

Other possible sales: Marquinhos, Xhaka, Nketiah, Tierney, Smith Rowe, Holding, Patino, Vieira

Forgot Pepe Le Pew still a year left on his contract, talks of terminating it. Patino as a first team player, highly rated but wants off too.
