3 points in the bag and ‘Yang back in the goals.

it’s a relief to see him score with only 3 months left in the season. a bit of a busted flush so far for him but i will forgive him quickly if he bangs in 3 goals per game for the next five matches.

Should have won that, just need to be a bit more clinical next week...

Poor today, too much overplaying and not enough tempo.

Auba should have had at least 3/4 goals but poor finishing.
He also seems to shy away from most 50/50 balls like he could win it if he wanted but just seems to jog to the ball and loses out.

We were quite slow in our passing and too much passing it around the box with no where to go.

Cebellos was quite frustrating today, many times he came into the middle to collect the ball with no one around him, I'd expect him to turn and get it forward but he'd pass backwards to Luiz or Gabriel, what was the point.

Plus point was Odegaard, who played some great through balls which we didn't profit on, although he seemed to tire late in the game.

Hopefully play better in the second leg as we should have easily scored quite a few goals in this game.

Should have won it but it will settle for drab and dreary right now.

Was surprised to see Vertonghen and Otamendi, easily their two best players and it showed.

Hopefully this result will not come back to bite us eek

Good to see Tierney back in the squad, not amazing to see Elneny, but I guess we're really short of people in that position. Wouldn't mind having Torriera available.

I'm.... Not hopeful. At all. hehe

Still, we've had good results every now and then, so you never know. If all our players turn up and play the game of their lives, maybe we can get something.

Looking at our head to head history, not confident at all! I just hope we play well regardless of result.

Oh dear. Holding should have done better there tbh, but no doubt this is a sign of what's coming over the next 90 mins frown

I joked with someone last night that I'd settle for 4-0...

I'm now even more annoyed at that goal, since then we've done alright. I think we're still the inferior team (not that's in much doubt) but Odegaard has been doing well, and Tierney has been showing his usual drive.

Piss poor, chasing shadows for 30 odd minutes at least they started playing a bit and getting some joy down the left.
Here's hoping we don't concede early in the second half.

Also please stop passing to Holding, every time he has an age on the ball then gives it away, I'm sure Mari's got a better range than him.

Pepe needs to come off as he seems so lethargic get ESR or Martinelli on.

If we can keep it to 1 goal maybe we can nick something but the way the games panning out looks like we are in for another tough half.

I’m a bit concerned atm.
If Arsenal get something out of this I won’t be surprised and Arsenal would deserve it.

That second half was like Arteta text his mate Pep and said take it easy on us and Pep was like ok.

We should have gave it a proper go but couldn't do much up front when it mattered.

At least it wasn't a pasting so happy with that.

He's not the first and won't be the last but nice of Kieran Tierney to fake a head injury to get Cancelo booked and play stopped.

Was always going to be the case once referees started to stop play for head injuries (which I agree with) but disappointed that a player I respect and think is very decent has to cheat like that.

He does seem to do that on the odd occasion, never followed him at Celtic so not sure if he used to do it there too or just picked it up in this league.

Needs to cut it out or else he'll be placed in the same bracket as Salah, Mane, Kane etc
