Kill this off early doors, no dramas, no nail biting and get the subs on. Would love to see some more of Shoretire and Diallo and not just 6 mins, like a proper half hour see how they handle it.

Also lets see what Daniel James brings to the table, he’s gathered a bit of momentum I’d like to see him do well but I have a feeling he’s drop off again - happy to be proved wrong!

Well, its flat but no harm in that. Feel a bit for the Sociedad fella, his knobbed up penalty is the only memorable thing that's happened, but if he's gonna try and take the mick then that's what he gets.

I noticed that - it was definitely green for cash out available for a good minute after the "goal" whereas normally it's suspended straight away. Odd!

Got to say I’m a bit disappointed with that performance. It’s obviously made no difference to the outcome of the tie and the fact it was pretty much a dead rubber does make it difficult to get the team fired up, but it was a very flat, tired performance. My fear is that we carry the same lazy mentality into the weekend, which wouldn’t be ideal against a resurgent Chelsea. Hopefully it’s just that it was a done deal that this happened.

Oh and the fact I lost £2 has really upset me

Dammit, I had paint drying in the other room but kept hoping this might just turn out better. Oh well, not surprising given the situation but at least more time for some of the squad and a rest for a couple too. Rangers in the draw tomorrow I reckon.
