I was always hopeful ( still am), however his form, a recall to the England set-up and as you say Manures abject failure have all probably transpired against us.

I did say he would let us down right back at the start of us signing him on loan...!

Yea contract expired, looked a good player and will probably do well at that level.

Some lovely stuff on Social media at the moment. Our two Czech mates pinching themselves about living the dream at our club, and Fornals endearing himself even more as it’s apparent he’s researched our recent history.
Very refreshing.

Some positive noises going around about another Czech player, Kral. Plays midfield and centre back. Apparently been in discussion with him and he has liked a number of West Ham tweets in the last couple of days (although could just be a Soucek/Coufal) thing.

Yes, Noble aside, we've no realistic other cover for the position: Soucek & Rice played almost every game this season & both will be playing a min of three games @ the Euro's.

Balbuena is leaving, which gives us Ogbonna, Diop and Dawson. Two of them are 30+ years old, and Diops form has been so poor I wouldnt be surprised if we cashed him in if we could get a decent offer. And definitely midfield reinforcements with Noble now pretty much done, a lot of reliance on Soucek and Rice staying fit, and being in the Europa we definitely need to have the option to rotate one of those two out for some of those games.

Yes to be honest we need to really have 15-16 first 11 players, at the moment we literally have 11-12 with anyone on the bench so far off the first eleven ability wise. The bench at the moment is made up of U-23 players, Noble and Lanzini. Goalkeeper, CB, CM and a forward are four transfers we need in my opinion, that are capable of being considered for that first eleven

Don't think that this has ever happened before - end of season & WHUFC in the nominations for: Player of the Season (Soucek), Young Player of the Season (Rice), Manager of the Year and three goals (Lanzini, Haller & Lingard) in the list for Goal of the Season!

Suggestion that it (new contract) was a done-deal last week. Can't see Moyes returning to Everton having taken WH into Europe.
