For the second game running Fulk looks miles off the pace for drop downs/second balls etc. If Wilson has 30 mins in him he needs to get on.
They're both s
te. Our CF position, as per usual, a disaster. Any sign of us managing some possession?

What on earth was that freekick taken by Paqueta in the first half?
In a promising position just outside the Everton box, perfect for a ball in on top of someone's head. Instead, 3 players stand over the ball and simultaneously split 3 ways, with Paqueta running squarely at the defence with the ball at his feet. Everton defence step out, take the ball off him and play it up the pitch. Absolutely baffled by that.
Yep, we both looked at each other and burst out laughing at that!In a promising position just outside the Everton box, perfect for a ball in on top of someone's head. To be fair, never expected to get anything from this one, Arsenal are looking very good this season.
We didn't do too bad in the first half but they just wore us down. But if we had faced this Arsenal side 3 or 4 weeks ago it could have been double figures.
I'm quietly optimistic about Nuno, we now have a run of winnable games. If we an get to the January window being out of the bottom 3, I think we will be OK.

Real next level stuff this season, what a mess. We didn't do too bad in the first half but they just wore us down. But if we had faced this Arsenal side 3 or 4 weeks ago it could have been double figures.

He also said in the interview 'at some point' which really makes the whole article a waste of time. Of course at some point he will sell up. Maybe in 5 years? 10? Who knows.
At least Nuno now has some time to spend with the players, try sort out this leaky defence, get the midfield actually functioning as a unit.

Sadly there's nothing he can do about the appalling striker situation he's inherited. At least Nuno now has some time to spend with the players, try sort out this leaky defence, get the midfield actually functioning as a unit.

I had to read that twice .. but very good !
yes, very good. Be interesting to see the stats on those numbers (specifically when were they imposed) though as we're significantly higher than anyone else.
It's been a while since anything's kicked-off domestically & the disturbances in/around the stadium when we were playing in Europe were generally the away fans causing chaos.
ETA, appears that the table's just last season - which makes it even more surprising.
We've 112 BO's running at the moment (#1).

Inevitable that Nuno would want his own team. Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

haven’t seen highlights but sounds like an afternoon to forget.
