Proper attacking header. Had he forgotten they’d changed ends?

No. MB cost £1m (£2m adjusted for 2025) & made four appearances. He's a tragic-comic footnote.

I guess its all relative though, you need to include football inflation on top of normal inflation (Andy Cole went for something like £6m I think it was that year and that was a top transfer, now we are looking at £120m as a top transfer)

But yes Boogers was a ridiculous Redknapp adventure, one of many, he might have got a bung for lol

I was watching an interview/podcast thing with Peter Crouch and Harry Redknapp yesterday and laughed when he was talking about how nowadays coaches/managers don't get the final say in transfers usually and that he wouldn't like that - no st you wouldn't like not being able to select the player that would get you a backhander laugh

Who was the player Redknapp bought and he never actually played for us because according to Harry "He didn't like the drive in from Oxford!" hehe

Just read about him, didn't realise he committed suicide a couple of years ago, 50 years old. How terrible. frown

Only saw that result this morning - total pop of the FI is 54k - that must be there best ever result.

Also, I think Soucek's played more for CR this season than WH following that red card.

They are only 1 point off Czech, problem is their last game is away to Croatia who are top.

As much as I have had enough of Brady and Sullivan i don't think boycotting games is a good idea. I would prefer to protest but get behind the team and new manager
