After a great result last night dare i dream we can actually get the job done this season and get automatic promotion. I cant believe i might be watching premier league football next season at the New stadium.

Come on you Bees

Any other Brentford Fans?

Not a Brentford fan (Birmingham unfortunately) so we're heading in the other direction

But I hope you go up and give it a good go. Don't want to see boring Norwich and manager merry-go-round Watford all season.

Good luck, good club structure, have sold and re built the team a few times and are still competing.

Hopefully we can get our act together and do the same one day..

I wish you good luck! The landlord of my local is a Brentford STH so we often talk about football and our teams- I'm a WBA fan - which last season was quite competitive, but in hindsight us pipping you to promotion last season seems now like a blessing in disguise for you. Hopefully you will get that promotion this season and will be able to enjoy your first PL season there in person, rather than the non-event (in so many ways) this season has become for us.

My son and i were absolutely gutted losing the play off last season, however like you say in a weird way its hopefully going to work in our favor. The thought of not being at the ground and playing in the prem would be gutting.

Seems to be a lot of love for Brentford, which makes me feel proud to be a life long supporter smile

Went to plenty of Brentford games in the late 80s / early 90s when tickets were a fiver...or maybe even free for kids? The football was bloody awful and we always seemed to lose but I will always have a soft spot for the Bees!

Always supported West Ham but the Bees are my second team for reasons that are more than acceptable ! Totally support Mr Benham and all he is doing with FC Mitzderland and the Bees. I know it's mixZderland or something (cba with the spelling). Would be over the moon to see the Bees in the prem ! Great stadium and 100% community focussed.

Bees just do it !

Good team, doing things he right way - not over spending and investing in the future - unlike 'my' club Blackburn Rovers.

Raya is a fantastic keeper, when he was at Blackburn he was dodgy on crosses, but a great shot stopper.

Speaking as a Leeds fan, first rule of "things you don't do when your team is doing well" is mention it on the internet biggrin

Indeed she is smile

I know the comedian, Nathan Caton is a fan as well, as I've seen him in the crowd at Griffin Park in the past.

My late father was an almost lifelong Bees fan, after his family moved into the Brentford area (only a few streets from Griffin Park) just after the start of WW2 when he was in his early teens....and Brentford were a 1st Div team when WW2 started.
I have fond memories of Saturday afternoons at Griffin park in the 70's through to 90's going with the old man, to watch some, back then, grim footie matches laugh
Sadly the old sod never got to see them make it to the consistency of Championship football let alone the more recent close encounters with top tier again.
So, I'll always have a soft spot for the Bees.
Sadly I have an ominous feeling that automatic promotion will yet again, escape them with this recent fall of form frown
