Chances of keeping Ericson next season?
Personally I think they are slim - of course I would like him to stay, but I do think he will go, and then not play every week etc. He practically walks straight into our team and is probably the first name on whos playing list.2 bad games at spurs etc and I can't see them sticking with him, at spurs he would be rotated more etc, due to number of games if they get into champs league etc.
MOney talks, he would double if not triple his wages at spurs.

Yeah the wages will be too hard to ignore. Been a great signing for both parties this year and all the best to him. Hope they send Leeds down on Sunday.2 bad games at spurs etc and I can't see them sticking with him, at spurs he would be rotated more etc, due to number of games if they get into champs league etc.

Well thats Mr Eriksen gone (or pretty much anyway).
Personally I know he can play at a better level than Brentford, and some spurs fans seem to have short memory, but I do think its a step too far.
I hope it works out for him, but currently he only played a game a week at Brentford, not sure if he can play a midweek and then weekend. Watch me be proved wrong and he has a amazing season whereever he ends up.

Has he? Do you know something we don't? To be clear Brentford are the only club to make an offer, the rest of the noise is click bait. He is currently on holiday and will decide his future when he returns, I'm not saying he will resign for the bees but this is the official situation. I think you are reading into him being out of contract which is true. As of the end of the month, Brentford would have needed to confirm his release

So who are we going to get in midfield now?
Need some one with a bit of creativity, I also think we do need someone who is a freekick / corner taker as I think personally we lack quality for that.
His quality is certainly going to be a huge loss, but I would have been astonished if he had stayed in the circumstances.Need some one with a bit of creativity, I also think we do need someone who is a freekick / corner taker as I think personally we lack quality for that.
Going to be a tough season coming, and a season long relegation battle between us, Leeds, Everton, probably Southampton & likely one of the promoted clubs, either Fulham or Bournemouth.
Good players I agree, think we need something else in midfield currently, I appreciate the midfield did bloody well last season (whole team did), but I feel we need another one, possibly defensive midfielder.
I hope Rico Henry keeps his left spot, I think hes a under rated player for us, and hinkley maybe on the right? Although I think I have read he prefers the left side, so we are still light on the right which was a weakness last season.
