plenty of games and points on the table but we need to get back on track quickly. Saturday was a nightmare
Something else I know as a Leeds fans are those new year lulls in form. Hope you do it - variety is the spice of life and it'd be nicer to see Brentford in the top flight vs the likes of Forest and Derby who seem to be (quite funnily) lurching from one disaster to another in between murmurings of being a big club etc etc.

I really hope we get back on track, 22 unbeaten then 3 on the bounce is a nightmare. Also Rico Henry done his hamstring on saturday which is a massive issue. Lets hope Christian Nørgaard, Pontus Jansson. Emiliano Marcondes and Ivan Toney come back quickly from injury

As a Norwich fan all I can say is be careful what you wish for. Like WBA, my club are like a yo-yo. It's great for fans to watch world-class players a few times a season, but it gets depressing every time the score starts Norwich 0. The gloss soon wears off.

I wish the big clubs would finally sort out this European Superleague. Chuck 'em out I say, and then the Championship promotion teams would be facing the likes of West Ham or Southampton and at least be in with a chance. Rather the odd win and a few draws, than losing 4-0 week after week.

PS If things go well, FFS don't spend the inheritance on 2nd rate journeymen players to strengthen the squad - it all goes sour when you've got a massive wages bill on Championship income.

Looks like any 2 from 4 at the moment. Having said that, a bad run brings the likes of Cardiff and Reading back into the equation.

Yep.....unfortunately, the 2 teams on the Bees heels all won as well...need Watford and Swansea to lose a match or two as well in coming weeks...to get that points gap back ( and keep winning as well)

happy to take the 3 points for the last 14 games, that's all that matters right now. We should not worry about the teams around us, if we can perform and get the points the rest will take care of itself.

As a Watford fan - this is the hard truth. It's horrible up there, most of the time. And let's be brutally honest, not only do the big teams have the big players that can hurt you just like that - so can the referees. It's anything but a level playing field - even the VAR refs ignore infringements against you, while hunting down the merest reason to decide against you.

Fantastic chase at the top of the table though. Shame Toney is back wink

Thanks to disgraceful cheating by Bournemouth and a weak refereeing performance and illegally giving them a freekick that was ours' (still seething).

As a Canary I'm happy to forecast a score of 1-2 to Brentford. I've followed Norwich for 50+ years and I know what they're capable of.

I would truly love to take all 3 points, however this is going to be a tight end to end game. Wouldn't be surprised if its a 1-1 draw. For anyone that's interested it a 5.30pm KO on Sky

Another one here with a little soft spot for Brentford. Always enjoyed the atmosphere in the away end at Griffin Park, shame I only sampled it twice. First time I went, a young lad we had on loan from Arsenal came on just before half time, only his second appearance for us.... now plays in the Premier League for Leeds, Luke Ayling.

Amazing how your team and mine have gone in such utterly opposite directions on and off the pitch since the League One playoff final in 2013. Although we won that day (and I genuinely wouldn't swap it for the world), you were eminently better prepared to go up and stay up. Eight years later and we sat at the bottom of the National League having just been taken over by Swiss Toni and an empty wallet. Thankfully results have improved so much, we are in the mix for a playoff berth although we'll probably screw that up too.

You have a impressive new stadium, Swiss Toni's trying to sell ours to the council so we can lift some pesky covenants, therefore then being able to sell the ground to A.N.Other to do whatever they like with it.

Good luck, would be good to see the Bees in the Prem. thumbup

Amazing isn't it. I remember the game you guys went 2 up and Harlee Dean scored to give us hope. You won 2-1 went up and the following season we finished 2nd and got promotion. Since then we haven't looked back with an amazing owner, money ball tactics and some incredible buying and selling business. New stadium cost the club £0, infact eco world paid us and over the past few seasons we have made circa 75mill from selling players. It just shows if a club is run in the right way dreams can happen. My only regret is my Dad isn't alive to witness this. I truly hope yeovil get it back on track and you can enjoy a similar journey

Same here frown

My old man saw one of the last 1st Div matches at Griffin Park in spring 1947 when he was home on 2 week leave from the Army after he got back from Palestine. They were in the 2nd Div, by the time he was next home after leaving the army a year later, and were struggling in the 4th Div when I first went to Griffin Park with him in the 70's.

He would be gobsmacked and thrilled to see what's happened in the past decade, and what might happen in the next few months (fingers crossed)

Cheers MG, kind words... clap

Re your dad, I was taken to games when I was younger by an older couple that lived two doors up from me. Kind of like surrogate parents really.

Anyway, went with them to games until I was 16 then went on the terraces and occasionally sat with them in the stands. The man had been a fan since 1926, when he was 5, and he'd seen Yeovil get promoted twice in all that time and those two promotions were to get them back from where they'd dropped, so not even moving forward. Saw a few great Cup giant killings though.

He died in 2001. Eight months later we won the FA Trophy, a year after that the Conference and two years after that, League Two. He missed out all the good times, blinking typical.

Sorry, went a bit OT there. All we can hope is that all those who have passed on are watching them from up there and enjoying what they're watching.

Great stories and memories. For all it's faults football is amazing. I think the common story is we all love our clubs and most of us are born into their clubs and it makes it very personal and special. My 2 boys (18 and 14) both season ticket with me don't understand the pain smile

Sorry about that. By all accounts your keeper maintained his reputation by saving a certain second goal.

Swansea benefited from a massive referee error. He indicated a free kick to Stoke, then a Swansea player dived and won a penalty in - late, late in injury time.
