I agree with NRS. We've had Trent, Curtis looks like he'll become a good squad player (but yet to see if he'll be genuine first XI quality), and I have high hopes for Harvey.
Everyone else is unlikely to be good enough. Put it this way. If Neco Williams was playing for another team, it's unlikely any of us would be saying he looks like a potential star and we should try and grab him.
To be honest I have no idea about Neco Williams yet - he's looked a promising youngster and able understudy but its early days. Selling them and then buying in a replacement flies in the face of pretty much everything Klopp and FSG were about when they joined forces. Rhian Brewster last summer, similar. Talked about as a potential big thing - but Anfield is the best place to develop that talent. He's done nothing at Sheffield Utd. Is that the player's fault? Who knows? Maybe his attitude was wrong and JK was happy for him to go. Or maybe he didn't expect to leave and has felt crappy about being rejected.Everyone else is unlikely to be good enough. Put it this way. If the club says "no they won't be good enough for what we want" - fair enough. If its selling the talented youngsters as they're more sellable and we need to raise funds, not so good.
Yes. And it's not in the dead wood's benefit to take a pay cut and leave us, as very few clubs will pay the same wages as us, and even fewer of those who can will choose to do it on a Liverpool reject. So even if we did agree a selling price we're likely to not have the player accept it, as they will want the best wages and nice payoff when they move out of contract afterwards in most cases.
You mention Brewster and not doing anything at Sheffield Utd - if he had the right attitude it shouldn't matter if we moved him on. So either his attitude is bad, or he wasn't good enough.
It's very much the exception a youth player comes through - look at us and all the top clubs, and how many of those in say the last 20 years are home grown regular first team players? Very few overall. It's a different financial model - they buy more proven players as it reduces the risk of a dud. Just look at say Karius for an example of how one poor player can lose you trophies if they're in the team. You always will buy duds, but buying players who have proven themselves elsewhere reduces that, and so is worth paying the extra money in general. And due to the higher wages you offer it's hard to get rid of the duds, or ones that become old and lose performance (likely sticking point with Gini was trying to avoid that).

I just want Origi gone (and Karius of course). No-one else really springs to mind.
I don't begrudge Origi almost solely because of what he did against Everton and Barcelona. Karius still being on the books is criminal.
Were not in too bad a situation with our high earners. Not when you compare to Utd atleast
Shaquiri must have inflated his price or we play him more next season.
The only real deadwood we have is Karius.
Origi has scored some immensely important goals for us and if he stays no doubt he will again at some stage.
Shaqiri is a great player, especially to have on the bench.
The only other I can think of is Grujic. Not sure what the plan is for him, or if he has much potential.

Origi has done nowt this last season though, when called on. For whatever reason (as ever we don't know what shows behind the scenes) he's not really pushed for a place in the same way Jota has, for example. I dont know why someone wouldn't want to take a chance on him though. Karius has had a couple of opportunities since that CL final and seems to remain flawed. Maybe his level is actually below what he thinks his wages should be so we can't get shot.
But if we signed him on a 5 yr contract in 2016 - surely he must be about to be a free agent... No we gave him a 1 year extension to 2022 when he went to Besiktas on loan (WHY???! Gambling on a bigger transfer fee I suppose). Oh dear...

I can see why Origi hasn't pushed on. He scored some great goals and then was still just used as a backup to everyone else, or played with the kids in the cups. And then we signed Jota.
I agree, it's time to move him on, but I don't think it's entirely his fault that he hasn't performed.

I hope Elliott goes on loan to a PL club next. Did well at Blackburn and needs to push on now, rather than warming the bench at Anfield.
Made the mistake last season of holding out for a sale for Wilson only for him to be loaned to a championship club when he played for Bournemouth the season before. Step down.

Entirely no, mostly yes IMOI agree, it's time to move him on, but I don't think it's entirely his fault that he hasn't performed.
I ran out of patience with him a while after the honeymoon glow of 4-0 Barcelona wore off.
its frustrating because his very direct style of running at goal and strong shot should make him the ideal impact sub
but too often he is lethargic and goes through the motions, sort of closes down without actually sprinting and really closing down, waits for something to happen rather than look to make it happen
Contrast with Shaq who races on to the pitch as sub and plays like he would run through a wqall and has 20 mins to prove himself
