As a Chelsea fan...Well done, great gane and you guys are one of THE finest teams assembled in the modern, or any, era. Good luck with the other two parts of the wishful quadruple...dunno if City will slip up but Slippy's Villa will be up for it, and West Ham are a potential banana skin.
That's very gracious of you and it must be awful to have lost so many finals. You gave us a solid game and thoroughly deserve 3rd place in the league originals said:
Well worth remembering. Pushed down the order a bit when Diaz arrived really and had the impact we all hoped Taki might have. I suspect he'll want away. He may not be quite up to a regular spot in our first team but he's too good not to get in someone else's starting lineup regularly.Ascayman said:

Great comeback! There's not a single reason for any Liverpool fan to care about Spurs.
This "obsessed" notion only exists on the pages of PH, created by the special breed of Spurs fans on here because it's all they've got to counter our recent successes and your recent decline.
I'm not going to derail the thread any longer discussing it with you further.

I dont think there is any difference between a loss and draw at this stage. GD is off the table. City would have all but guaranteed the title yesterday had Mahrez put that pen away. That miss was more a lot more expensive than Antonio's. The mental hurt that must have given those City players. Piles huge pressure on them for their final game. A big 6 days ahead for us.

Yep. Got too soon Tuesday then see how mentally strong the city lads are. Was their title in January when 12 points aheadAfter his penalty save on Saturday to win us the FA Cup, it's a year ago today that Alisson scored the 95th minute header at West Brom to help us qualify for the CL.
Our season could've been very different without that.
Money well spent despite others scoffing at his price tag.
There's no other keeper in world football I'd rather have.

Congratulations on winning the cup.
Would someone explain why Liverpool fans were booing through the National Anthem and the Duke of Cambridge please?
General anti-stablishment sentiment.Would someone explain why Liverpool fans were booing through the National Anthem and the Duke of Cambridge please?
A lot of it stemming from Hillsborough.
I'd say I'm surprised at the publicity it's got compared to some other football booing/chanting but I'm not.
The man on street has little time for, or anything in common with, Princes or Dukes. It's not the first time a dignitary has been booed by a crowd.
It's not exclusive to Liverpool either, although there are still scars from the Thatcher governments treatment of the city and Hillsborough cover ups etc so there is perhaps more anti establishment feelings than elsewhere
Don't ever rely on a football crowd to do the right thing.

It was very noticeable and imo repugnant before the FA Cup final. Shame, I always had a soft spot for Liverpool but then every club has it’s share of A. R. Soles.
You don't really get much of a chance to boo Prince William and the National Anthem very often.at a club gameIt's a once a year opportunity, if you are lucky enough to qualify.

No other club that I know boos the national anthem, they might not sing it but that's about it.It's not exclusive to Liverpool either, although there are still scars from the Thatcher governments treatment of the city and Hillsborough cover ups etc so there is perhaps more anti establishment feelings than elsewhere
