Gini just scored for Holland.

Nothing unusual in that as he’s scored quite a few for his country... but this was a 1st time strike from 20+ yards... with his left foot. Not sure I ever saw him make even a 5 yards pass with his left foot whilst he played for us.

Just saying

I think they're planning on sending Kelleher out on loan for match experience.

Liverpool have been granted approval to expand the Anfield Road end, with work now underway on a £60 million redevelopment that will add around 7,000 seats to Anfield.

2 sides down, 2 to go

(and some architectural smoothing of the 4 corners to turn it into a cohesive design (and add further seating capacity would be ideal)

I'm not too fussed about the corners. But I would be surprised if we see much more major stadium work for a long time, not until the transport issues are sorted anyway.

What about a possible sausage roll area though? Or a cheese room?

I think big clubs usually use such spaces as trophy rooms.

Another behind the scenes. This time while the players are being asked to do photos and gifs, of all things...

Away to Norwich for our first PL game next season. Followed by Burnley and then Chelsea at home.

May looks OK if we are hopefully in the mix at the end.

(though this is always a bit daft as 3 points in August is as valuable as 3 in May

Rafa emerging as favourite to take over at Goodison Park. At least he can live at home, I guess.

Good luck to him, as long as they don't beat us, finish ahead of us or win any cups hehe
