they are still showing the compressions going on!. what on earth are they doing.
I’m guessing BBC get the feed from FIFA I doubt they control, it other than going back to the studio.

Currently listening on 5 Live, at least they're handling things with some sensitivity. Hope to God he pulls through, memories of Fabrice Muamba.

I’m watching on a different network and they aren’t showing anything other than crowd scenes and long distance shots well away from anything intrusive.

Carrying him off the pitch and it doesn't look like they're working on him any more.

Shocking. Worst thing I’ve seen. Why the bbc haven’t cut it.

Even worse they’re still showing it on iPlayer on catch up.

I feel sick. Bloody love Eriksen as a Spurs fan, it's Muamba all over again.
All my fingers are crossed for a similar outcome.

The BBC live text feed has messages from their pundits like ‘ This is far too serious now,’ but Pat McNevin - in a display of crass stupidity and insensitivity. Also commentary on how they’ve brought his wife pitchside - likely to watch her husband die.

How difficult would it be to post ‘Christian Eriksen has experienced a severe injury during the game. Medical staff are in attendance. Coverage will be paused until further notice out of respect for Christian and his family.’

I turned it off a long time ago, but I need to have a walk or something and calm down. I used to be involved in medicine and have done CPR myself a good few times. The coverage however - I legitimately can’t remember a time I’ve been more angry in my life.

Can't show a streaker but can show that (!)

Disgusting choices by host and BBC broadcasting.

I could not believe any director cut back to the collapsed player after the medics got there. Someone making that decision needs demoting a long way.

Fingers crossed for the the player.

Not sure whether to take it as a positive or not that they’ve moved him, seem to remember they worked on Fabrice Muamba for about half an hour on the pitch, was watching that game too. frown

They would surely work and work in situ to revive and only move once more stable. I hope positive.
