Of the two, bike. Post your stuff over.

Good luck finding a ferry crossing at a sensible time now. They get booked up every year pretty much as soon as they are released. Look for cancellations in the first week of March or thereabouts.

I didn't think of posting my gear , what a great idea, unable to book a ferry , , must be covid restrictions

I posted my stuff back last time I went, why hadn’t I thought of that before!! Definitely the way to go.

You have to take the bike, it’s all part of the experience.

Take the bike. How much stuff are you bringing with you? I just carried what I needed in a small rucksack.

A few tee shirts, shorts, trainers and several pairs of boxers, toiletries , but not carried a rucksack for any length of journey, posting it sounds like a great idea

I flew over one year and bought a motorbike there. Imported it back to UK, taxed it, MOTd it and Pxd it on a new bike for 300 quid more than it cost me!
