We need defenders and a quality attacker/center forward.
Phillips back is good, played well on loan at Plymouth and Stoke and he's a big centre-back.
Danso I think could be another of those great players if developed more.
Are we looking to shift on Yves Bissouma? Same for Manor Solomon, did well at Leeds and we had him on a free so thats easy money.
Bryan Gil can go.
Richarlison? His best game last year was the sodding Final where he showed what he could do. Kept the ball, was a good target man for breaking out, worked back and defended to help out the team, worked the ball well carrying it upfield.... Where was that all season
Dane Scarlett and Yang Min-hyeok?
I don't think we need more defenders. Vicario, Kinky, Romero, VDV, Porro, Udogie, Spence, Danso, Davies, Phllips, Dragusin, Vuskovic, Gray. When Vicario, VDV, Romero, Porro and Udogie all started, we had the same PPG as Chelsea.Phillips back is good, played well on loan at Plymouth and Stoke and he's a big centre-back.

The defence looked bad at times because we had so many injuries and Angeball exposed these shortcomings. However, the real issue was scoring. 9 games when we failed to register. We lost 6 games 1-0. We lost 14 games by a single goal. Sure we scored a lot of goals over the season but they were mostly scored in big wins; 3/4/5 in a match. Angeball largely failed because we sacrificed defence for attack but failed to score regularly when we had the attacking overload. If we had Palmer and Isaak in our team, I expect Ange would still be in a job.
What we lack is guile. We basically just have Madders and Kulu as the only 2 creative players. Everyone else are just runners. Coupled with just a single, hard working but limited centre forward. We desperately need another couple of creative midfielders (like Eze) and another goalscorer. We currently have about 7 left wingers, 1 CF and Johnson on the right. The recruitment has been a total mess, as usual.

I've spoken to a couple of Spurs supporting colleagues and they seem to think it's a foregone conclusion Manor Solomon will be on his way out. I can't understand why you'd want to move him on? He had a very strong and injury-free season in a competitive division last season, and Leeds only finished 4 places lower than Spurs in the football league. Surely he'd be a good option for you this season?

Defensive midfielder, someone to sit in front of the back 4?
We do seem to like creative wingers, but not many can put in a good ball, or have any quality in the box? Johnson was top scores last year!

Good post, we have a team full of cloggers or runners and no one apart from Madders or Kulu to pass to the runners or beat a man. The only real winger I've seen in our squad is Solomon and we sent him out to Leeds.

Porro is a great crosser of the ball. Love seeing him bomb up the right and whip in a cross for Solanke to f

I agree. What he isn't is a defender though. get's beaten very easily. We need to do a Bale with him and move him further up the field or at the very least, use him as a wingback, going wide rather than inverting.
I hope Frank tries it at least, wingbacks pushing up the flanks with 3 at the back would suit this squad a lot I feel.

Well, we made £2m on selling Hojbjerg to Marseille. Tottenham negotiated a fee for the midfielder, with the French side due to pay £17million to sign the Dane permanently.
Should have just kept him for £17m. While he isn't outstanding, he's better in that number 6 role than any of our current midfielders. Not sure how serious these latest rumours are
The Guardian claim that Spurs are eyeing a sensational move to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United this summer.
The Ghana international has a release clause of £85m in his contract, but Tottenham are expected to test the waters with a £50m opening offer.
Yup, thats Levy
and more talk about Grealish. I'm not sure we want him, or his wage demands

Tbf transfer season is just clickbait heaven for content creators so I take all of it with a huge pinch of salt, especially as it's Spurs. Last year we were almost definitely certain we were going to sign Eze (we didn't). The year before that it was Zaha (we didn't), I can go on pretty much forever. The Guardian claim that Spurs are eyeing a sensational move to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United this summer.

So far the only certainty is that we've signed Tel. Rumours that Levy has had an epiphany are just that until I see some real, genuine talent with a Spurs shirt on.
