I feel like him, Casemiro and Eriksen together in the midfield could be something special...

Pretty certain they'd represent the most geriatric midfield trio in the Premier League, is that what you mean by special?

Ronaldo still starting internationals for Portugal, and scoring plenty.

And Lukaku scored a hattrick. Internationals are manna for flat track bullys.

Off the see the ladies for the first time today at OT. Interesting to see how different the atmosphere is. Got a cracking deal so can take the entire family for hospitality for peanuts! Great day out!

Clearly intended as a wind up and ignored. It would appear the football threads are evolving as the proliferation of idiots is reduced.

McTominay, the flat track bully, getting a couple goals too, in international football, today.

I also went, good match but the atmosphere seemed a bit “quite”…perhaps it was the lack of away fans.
I imagine in hospitality with food and a few beers it was a quite a pleasant early evening out - which is the route I’ll go next time.

Watching the highlights back on telly this morning, seems even more exciting.

Exactly. At £25 a head a free feed and access to reasonably priced cash bar it was a lovely day out and as my Brother in Law is a scouser it got the 2nd nephew now fully confirmed as a Manchester United fan. Well worth the cash.

It was nice to sit somewhere else for a change.

Conte's gone from Spuds. United definitely dodged a bullet there...

Said similar to my mates this morning. The media was saying United had to have got Conte last season when OGS was sacked as he was a proven winner and exactly what the club needed.

The club no doubt realised that Conte was just a Jose 2.0 and we didn't need another circus around the club when he no doubt has a meltdown and quits or gets sacked. No doubt he has been under alot of stress with a number of his close friends dying.

So glad we got ETH.

I did genuinely believe Conte would finally be the manager to win Spurs some silverware, and elevate them out of the shadow of their North London rivals.

Alas, how wrong was I.

I have to agree. Conte would have been a car crash at United given the issues in the squad. He would doubtless have been better than RR but he’d have never signed as an interim.

We are well ahead of schedule for our rebuild given the ability that ETH has and the discipline he’s installed in the squad. All without a recognised striker for most of the season.

Arsenal are hardly casting a shadow over Spurs...over recent years it'd be Chelsea.

It was so easy to predict how it would end at Spurs. What I’m finding a little more interesting is reading the comments from back in August after two matches, when we were a bit st to say the least and there were a few calling for Conte and moaning that we hadn’t got him, others predicting the end of ETH, one even suggested gone by Christmas, another by March. It’s amazing how fickle football can be. Did anyone think Tuchel would be gone before Christmas? Or Klopp sticking to his 7 year itch at Liverpool?
