That would be an excellent start to the transfer window and given the state the club is in quite a coup.

Things definitely seem to have moved on in last 24 hours, does sound like a deal for £69/€80m is almost done

Assume Deltona has more info from Holland I know Mike Verwij (sp) has been quite accurate on this so far, no Here We Go yet

Any reasons why we're not in for Raphinha other than he plays for Leeds? He's top class and solves an issue of a right winger. He'd also be cheaper than Antony, who Ajax won't let got for less than 80 mill euros!

Good player,I posted on UWS when we signed Snacho that we should have gone for him instead to solve the right side.

I think the only benefit to Antony is he's more versatile and could play as a false 9 if Ronaldo needs a rest. Personally I'd have Raphinha as he's already proven in a poor Leeds side that he's a class player.

Don’t know ,haven’t seen enough of him to comment ,but he seems to be key to ten hag’s plan and I think other deals revolve around this being done so in that respect it’s good.

Still need a proper dm alongside him along with 2 full backs ,2 centre halves and a right sided forward .

This United fan really wants him to come.

None of what we read in the papers around transfers carries much weight with me. He’s got years left on his current deal so could just say no thanks not interested but he hasn’t. He was diplomatic when asked a few weeks back about the move and there’s been no actual quotes from him since. He’s an ideal replacement for Pogba for me.

Worked very successfully under ETH before and fingers crossed is about to do so again.
