Congratulations to Celtic. They have played some lovely football to watch this season and deserve the title.

Aberdeen and Hibs fans must be really disappointed. There isn't any signs of improvement which is worrying.
You're not kidding. Hibs have been going round in circles, slowly declining for too long. Without Boyle and Nisbet they look pretty impotent and the centre backs miss having Gogic looking after them.

What an achievement. To go out and build a near enough brand new team, then have the audacity to become the best team in scotland. After that start aswel, still celtic managed it. Thats what's scary, now we have a brand new team. All just here, all developing and getting better. Everyone young aswel. Add money to spend, a world class manager and were going places. Can see next seasons league being a walk in the park this time. This to me signals another decade of dominance. Nice.

Rangers won their game with ease. I'm surprised with the last home game of a potentially successful season how empty the stadium was late on.
Third home game in a week, crowds stayed after the final whistle in the previous two games and cases need to be packed for a trip to Seville. I'm surprised your surprised.

Last home game of the season it's normal to pay respect to the players. Ibrox was empty long before the end of the game. That's not usual unless the fans are showing their frustration.

How many days to pack a case? What are you squeezing into your suitcase? laugh

ICT down to 9 men here. They will feel hard done to as neither should have been a red card.

It's been a low quality game over both legs. I'd be surprised if St Johnstone lost to these teams. I think I might have said the same about Dundee last year.

You might want to do your homework before commenting, the players and their families went on to the pitch after the Dundee Utd game. There was a lot of pictures in the press I’m surprised you didn’t pick up on that when you were watching the stream.

Day to lift the trophy. The sun's shining aswel. Perfect! The best team in scotland back on the podium. Rebuild only half done. Imagine how good we will be next year. Exciting times!

What a performance today! Emotional for the ones who are leaving aswel. A complete new era now. Excited for next season. Can see us doing some serious damage in the champions league. (Probably take a bit aswel... eek) anyway, what a day. What a team. Just as the manager said, we'll be back next season even better. Top class.

Watched the game from sunny Mallorca. Absolutely tremendous. Will be gutted to see big Tam and Nir go.

Thank you gents biggrin

Great to watch the young team tear hearts apart, the fans have been screaming for a pathway for the youths for a while and gio has gave a fair few a chance.

Young Lowry is going to be an incredible player if he keeps getting game time and building experience, goal and assist for him today!

Anyway the wee league is done and it’s onto a major European final. Few friends left today and I leave on Tuesday. Excitement is off the scale now

It's strange that Bitton and Rogic are being allowed to leave with both under contract for another year. It sounds as if they are being released as both want to go home. Rogic would still command a good transfer free.

It will mean more money will need to be spent next year. I thought Rangers would have a far bigger rebuilding job, but Celtic have a lot to do. There will be more to do if CCV and Jota don't sign.

I was surprised that Forrest was given a new 3 year contract. He's not been the same player for a while.

The game looked fun today. A lot of good play and goals. Giakoumakis is now joint top scorer in the league even though he was injured a lot of the season. His scoring record is really good once he found his feet.

Jota was again a joy to watch. It would be massive if Celtic could sign him permanently.

I believe both Nir and Tam would have went last year but with all the changes were asked to stay on with the promise they'd be allowed to go for free this year.

Amazing scenes in Glasgow today. Wish i was there for it.

Congratulations to Celtic on winning the Title and putting on a 5 star show.
The biggest plaudits must go to Mr Postecoglou because what he has done is truly remarkable. Brought in at the 11 hour with only a handful of first team players cobbled together a squad and turned around a 6 point deficit to win the league conceding the least goals while absolutely smashing the closest opposition tally by 21.
A lot of humble pie is being eaten by pundits and supporters who tried to belittle , mock and generally disrespect the now Champions of Scotlands manager.

Ayr United fan here, usually I'm totally non-plussed (to put it mildly) about both of the big Glasgow clubs, but OK, I'll hold my nose and cheer Rangers on tonight. I like the Europa League/UEFA Cup, it's thrown up some great matches over the years, and it is a minor miracle that Rangers have made it this far. So a begruding cheer will be heading their way from my sofa tonight. I shall pretend they're wearing slightly darker blue.

Not a Rangers fan (or even a Scot!) but I hope they do it tonight in the Europa League final; it's been a long haul back from the lows of ten years ago and to be in the final at all is quite an achievement. And the size of support in Seville illustrates again how big the two Glasgow clubs are; if the fan base was the sole criteria they'd certainly be in the top half of the English Premier League!

Tongue in cheeck but Is any fan, from either Celtic or Rangers going to fly a Scottish flag today ? biggrin

Game is rough and tumble, players are getting stuck in, plenty of chances too, not a bad game in the first 25 minutes.

The ref is almost laughably lenient, although he is doing it fairly.
