Massive game tonight.
I know some don't think we have a hope in hell of winning Europa, but I actually think Amorim's defensive and slow football he has us playing probably suits European football more than the PL.
We actually looked ok away against Sociedad last week on the whole, compared to our broader PL performances.
As always it's hard to see where a goal might come from, but Bruno seems to be bailing us out in the key moments at present and the slower pace of the game should suit Zirkzee too.
Not getting giddy and saying we are going to win the whole thing by any stretch, but it would be transformative if we did.
Yes, cautiously optimistic here too. We are still the only unbeaten team in European comps this season apparently, and the more recent performances have shown a bit more threat going forwards. It would be massive for us if we did somehow win the thing this year.I know some don't think we have a hope in hell of winning Europa, but I actually think Amorim's defensive and slow football he has us playing probably suits European football more than the PL.

Concern for tonight is simply the amount of games we've played with the same players recently and just getting out energied in midefield with Zubimendi back for them. Ugarte is supposed to be back though, which is a plus in that regards. They always seem to get the rub of the green with decisions though, and have a habit of looking for them. I'm hoping that doesn't apply again tonight.
I am fairly hopeful of a good result tonight, our forwards need to start scoring at some point. If we do win tonight then anything is possible,
None of the other teams left in the competition have looked unbeatable, and we have held our own when we have played the top premiership teams under Amorim. It’s the so called lesser teams which have caused us the most problems in the league.
I am going to be bold and go for a 3-1 win

Love this optimism - it's rubbed on to me immediately and I'm now feeling more optimistic for a win tonight.None of the other teams left in the competition have looked unbeatable, and we have held our own when we have played the top premiership teams under Amorim. I thought we played well in the first leg and should have won that quite comfortably-ii think we’ll edge it tonight
Well we did until they scored , then we stopped playing .They were missing their best player he will make a difffeence if he plays , but they were pretty crap overall and it will be very poor if we don’t beat them .

Heaven is starting, Ugarte on Bench. Garnacho, Hojlund and Zirkzee up front with Bruno in mid with Casemiro. Fingers crossed.
No Ugarte in team according to BBC line up? That bench better be full of talented youngsters I've never heard of else we're pretty thin.Edit: My bad, Ugarte was off the bottom of my screen and I thought I'd scrolled to the bottom. Still a thin bench.
