Unless they have hit a stumbling block the deal should still go through.... Not sure why anyone would think new ownership will bring success but time will tell I guess!
I didn't think it was a guarantee of success, I very much appreciate what Farwaz tried to do with the club and the money put in, however at times his impaticience was not in always in the best interest of the club long term. Anyway, hope when the new owners come in they will take some more long term decisions.
Roll on Tuesday. Let's hope the takeover finally goes through and brings to an end the worst period in the clubs history.
Fawaz, totally incompetent and to make matters worse decided in his wisdom to sack anyone with any knowledge in running a football club in his naive belief he could do it all himself.

I'd be pleased with Pearson or Rowett.
I really hope Tuesday is the good news day we've all been waiting for. The atmosphere at home games has really dropped off just like the on pitch performances. The club is a laughing stock and I hope Fawaz never shows his face again and his 20% stake is quickly bought back by Moores.

Oh S**T comes to mind.
However, if what is being reported in that JMI had reduced their offer from $50M to $25M I am not surprised Fawaz walked away.
We now have no CEO, no Financial Director, no Football Director, no guts in a team of lazy journeymen (youngsters aside) and a manager that does not seem to understand the Championship and what tactics are required to get any form of result.
In 51 years of supporting Forest, I have never felt so low.

Even County are offering Forest fans an offer to watch County today!
I've read that JJM has previous in reducing the price at the 11th hour, but it has merit - it was ready to sign before Christmas allegedly. Since then we've not won and the clubs value is reducing, we are facing the league 1 days again.
I can see Lansbury, Cash and Bereton all leaving, maybe a few more too to line old Fawazs pockets...

From what I can see on social media, this is starting to show who the real fans are. Many people are brazenly showing their allegiance to County and their new owner.
As for me - I'll always be a red, no matter what. League one or not, I'll be in the same seat as I have been for years next season. That's if the club exists.
