Sounds like the new owners have really taken some steps behind the scenes to set things straight.

We aren't going down this season, probably even if we don't win another game. That means the manager stays, has the summer and a decent transfer window to sort out the system, style and personnel. I assume money is coming to start to build. I would this time next season we are fighting for a play off spot.

Reasons to believe.

Bump for the Forest thread, on the back of beating Newcastle last night in the cup, second year running too.

Not sure when the draw is for the next round, but maybe its a good place for us to get some more matches in. Feel like as such a new team we are still finding our way to play.

Still unbeaten though, so can't argue too much - despite a few too many draws.

I know he is considered spikes, but for Forest we had a pretty decent Christmas...

Todays result was shockingly bad. I sincerely hope that the owner sorts this mess out right away. Apparently he wanted Karanka to stay but something was seriously wrong if he wanted out & presumably lose out on a lot of wages! It's the sorry state of our great club once again & I suspect come the end of the season, it will be up for sale again.

I don’t think Marinakis will sell. He has plans in place which nobody would consider in the short term. I don’t think he wanted Karanka to stay either - I think it was a clash of personalities.
