Does some amazing things. Cleared there which was awesome. Other times looks awful.

Poor all around, we are relegation fodder and our luck will run out. Defence apart from Felipe a mess,.BJ not fit and 2 boys from Brazil on the bench that cooper seems reluctant to give a decent run out.

I don’t completely agree we played better than I have seen in recent matches, not great in the final third. We do lose the ball too easily, would like to see us play more possession at times instead of always trying the risky one forward.

Ref was a joke again.

They gave us a goal, hit the bar twice, had a goal disallowed and missed a hatful of other chances.

Agree, I thought we were so poor, apart from Felipe, Yates and Dennis' shot no real class shown anywhere. Our recent stats put us way at the bottom. We are probably the worst team in the division and luck has placed us in 14th but that won't continue. It was an attacking line up but without the talent to deliver.

It was the wrong line up though, IMO. 2 midfielders in the Prem just doesn't work, as shown how dreadful we were at the start of the season. 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2 worked fine until City, and SC was fully justified in going more defensive for that one. I get that injuries and form are forcing SC's hand but I just think we were too gung-ho last night. I understand Danilo is struggling a bit to adapt, but I would have like to see him alongside Yates and Shelvey. Perhaps in place of Bren or MGW, as I thought Dennis and Ayew were the best of the 4 attackers.

I do think most of our fans didn't give enough respect to Newcastle. They are a very decent team, on the verge of CL, and yet most of our fan base seemed to think we'd definitely get something?!?! Our fate will be down to the games v Wolves, Leeds, Saints etc. Not v Newcastle.

Once we get Kouyate and a few others back, things may look quite different. I'm still positive! Especially if results go our way today.....
