I agree. Although I detect a hint of sourness in some of the grapes you've eaten. They weren't what gave the virus, were they?
You detect correctly .Still gutted, although frankly you could have won by 2/3 goals - Austin missed a couple of sitters. We had zero clear cut chances.
Well. No matter.
As far as it goes for Swansea "It's all in our hands still".
Providing, of course, that we beat Stoke on the last day, and Huddersfield don't even get a sniff of a point from either Chelsea or Arsenal. And even then it would be by a very narrow margin of goal difference...
...what could possibly go wrong?

How many times do we need to fking lose in added extra added fking time?!?!?! And the 2nd time to these arrogant s!! fk sake. Fuming on so many levels right now. Not least due to the City fan in the local pub (in fking Southampton!) cheering and gloating that they've reached 100 points. fk off!
Rarely have we conceded a goal that I was so 'meh' about.
Disappointing to lose but a month go I'd have wagered big money we were gone - happy enough to have avoided that. Doesn't mask the awful year we endured both on and off the pitch with very little to cheer about, but at least the club now has the chance to chop out some dead wood and hopefully be a little less naive and arrogant in their forthcoming transfer dealings.
Now waiting for the inevitable email from the club advising that season ticket prices have been increased !

I wasn't that fussed about the goal. If it was 0-0, it would have made absolutely no difference. In some ways, I also think it's quite nice for City to have reached a frankly absurd 100 points.
I cannot imagine that if we'd have drawn 0-0 whether it would have made ANY difference to just about anything for us, including transfers over the summer, whether Hughes stays or goes, whether any players decide to leave because of that result etc.....
It'll be an interesting summer.
Now.....I await the World Cup!

Agreed, barring a freak result, the match was fairly meaningless. And once we got to half time and saw Swansea were losing, and we weren't 4-nil down I was able to relax.
Hoping they'll sort things out over the summer, get Hughes on board permanently and make some better transfer decisions. Something needs to change, because we didn't stay up on our own merit, the only reason we survived is because of how shockingly bad Swansea were in the run in.

Agreed, it didn't mean much in terms of the actual result. It's just the principle of losing like that, yet again. I also thought we were gone a few months back, so it is a bonus we have stayed up, it just would have been nice to end on a bit of a high. Anyway, I feel less irate today :-)
However, whoever the squad is next season, they all need to be fit enough to play 110 mins flat out every game, as it is quite clear referees will not blow the final whistle until the other team have a clear cut goalscoring opportunity.

Hughes has signed which given he got passion into the team at the end of last season, I am quite happy with. I don't see too many of our players being poached this summer. If JWP could be a lot more consistent I think someone would come in for him, but despite good dead ball delivery, he does not consistently deliver.
Yep, happy with Hughes. At least he knows the English game, glad we didn't end up with another relative unknown from the continent.
I can't see any players getting poached this summer (not sure if that's good or bad), hopefully we'll be a bit shrewder when bringing any new ones in as well.
