Some Keystone Cops defending by Saints for two of the goals doesn't alter the fact that Wolves were far and away the better side in the second half.
Albeit very disappointing to come away with nothing, I've no complaint with the result.
Saints were simply over-powered in midfield and, when Wolves scored their first, the writing was on the wall somewhat - it certainly pepped them up.
There's been enough in Saints' performances since Christmas for me to start looking up the table rather than down. I don't think this [not unexpected] result does much to really change that.

I went to the game. A pretty awful performance from start to finish, with West Ham the deserved winners.
A few thoughts - JWP is not a full back - not sure why he was kept in that position when Valery and Walker-Peters were on the bench.
The defence is so vulnerable when the opposition bomb a long ball forward.
Our lack of urgency at times is a real concern - it's like we have no idea what to do with the ball, so it simply finds its way back to the 'keeper.
And 3-1 down and we sub a midfielder for Vestegaard ? Really ?
I'll not be in too much of a hurry to re-visit the stadium, either - a bit of a trek from Stratford, very poor atmosphere within the ground and without doubt the farthest I've ever been from a pitch at any time. My cap is doffed to the fans who manage to endure that week in, week out.
Still a great day out though - early train up, breakfast and a few beers around Borough Market, few beers with a bite to eat after the game and a late train home.

GOATy must be the most pessimistic fan out there.
A couple of wins from the 10 games left will see us safe enough.

Yep, I think we'll be safe, more by virtue of our relegation rivals being worse than us than anything else. Hopefully we can rediscover the form we had back in December, although we need some sort of shake up as I'd put money on us being relegation fodder next season if not...

Le Tissier was playing when I used to go to the Dell (1995-2001) - there can’t be many players of his talents that only ever played for one club. Met him quite a few times over the years and always came across as a really nice guy. Marty cites the best premier league player outside of the top 6 clubs
