United down to 10. There is still hope.
Long way to go yet. Hope, yes. I'd have definitely taken a draw before the game. Unfortunately other results didn't exactly go our way yesterday!I don't think I can remember a league table so vividly showing the haves and the have nots - the top eleven and the rest. \with Crystal Palace on 27 and Southampton on 22 literally anything can -and might - happen. Sure, with fixtures such as Spurs, Man City, Newcastle, Fulham, Arsenal and finishing with a reborn Liverpool the world isn't exactly rosy, but as aforesaid, we do have a glimmer of hope for now. Fingers crossed!

Oh dear. It didn't work this time but at least I have some money to try again
I'm a season ticket holder and supporter of 25 years, and I've been watching us unravel just like we did in 2005 (so many similarities). This time I feel a bit more worried though as the Championship (and football in general) is a different beast now to what is was back then. That said we've got a bit of time and there are others in meltdown too so we can hope.
We MUST get behind our players though and beating the sh*t out of them is screwing everyone and it must stop now IMO (if we want to survive at least). I get the passion and the constant disappointment (we're all feeling the pain) but this is obviously a VERY mentally fragile squad and lacking in confidence massively.
We should get behind them and leave the player bashing til next season which I hope will be in the EPL.

The trouble is Will all we have seen for 4 seasons at home is ste football and the fans have had enough. We look at a side now that has no flair or goals in it. Our strikers or wingers have not scored in the league since November. Pretty much sums it up. To have any chance of staying up we need to lose no more than 3 games till the end of the season and that is just not going to happen. The better half and I have had the same seats at the church since it opened and I have never felt so down about the team. Even 2005 was not as bad as this. I will go on Saturday with no expectation but will be over the moon if we manage to get a win. That said we've got a bit of time and there are others in meltdown too so we can hope.

Personally I feel that our players should, considering how much they make each week, be getting behind us, not the other way round. I heard today that Crystal Palace have sacked Patrick Viera "taking account of the league position and needing to react". Bums are squeaking all over the place it seems. Eight of the bottom eleven teams have changed managers this year so far. Moyes and Rogers can't be sleeping at night either.
I hear what you're saying guys I really do. I'm in Block 36 so around some of the more 'outspoken' fans and I can't lie I'm one of them. I just can't help feeling we're sometimes such a negative fan base even though we deserve to say so mostly. I went to the Bridge a couple of weeks ago and they looked like ghosts how vocal and aggressive we were. That's just normality for me lol.
There's just something about it now I feel we need to get behind them even if inside we're screaming (I'm terrible these days) and if we do we and Selles might get a tune out of these kids.
I'm red and white til I die guys and I'm totally with you (Band if Brothers) but if we can just squeeze 36 points out of them we can carry on screaming at them in August.
Just my two penneth and I respect your opinions all day long as you've been through the meat grinder same as me.

Great game?
We’ve got to be happy with todays result.
I'm usually quite glass half-empty (my mate i sit next to is the opposite so we cancel each other out!) but we are holding on to a glimmer of hope. Problem is our rivals picked up points (again) so not great. Good for the crowd though and i'm pleased i stayed as i was considering binning it at 1-3 as i had something else to do that afternoon lol. We’ve got to be happy with todays result.
I think personally the score line was flattering Saturday (for both teams) and only a goal-fest as the defence was crap on both sides. Happy with the point though and it's going to be a fascinating run-in for those who have the nerve. The big question is who's got the minerals for it and we've got tons of experience in drop-zone fights. Can't see West Ham or Everton being comfortable with it.
The players are showing much more fight which is good though, and Selles seems to be getting a tune out of these kids, and Saturday was no exception with multi-sub interventions being the difference.
Reality check though - I still think we're go down and if not this season then next. Not necessarily a bad thing and needs to be come to terms with, but it'll be tough to get out of that league.

No one has commented against the match yesterday? Or are we all busy packing the luggage for Easter instead of having to watch what would seem to be the inevitable against Man City? If so I don't blame you all. I've turned down the oven to slow down the cooking of the goose.
