Don't count your chickens yet lads, they might win thirteen/fourteen nil against relegated Wigan whilst Fulham go to to lose to Sheffield meaning that they grab it on goal difference.

Lo behold the usual ste jokes that I was expecting.

Yes we fked up, big time but finishing 7th given all the stuff going on behind the scenes and the limited budget is still a good effort. If Monk had been backed by Cellino properly we would have finished higher.

Looks like Radz is crossing the Ts and dotting the Is to buy out Cellino. Seems he is due to sit down with Monk soon as well. We need to tie Monk and the key players down with proper contracts and give Monk the cash he needs to get the players he wants.

Oh congrats to Udderste for finally finishing above us. I hope they get hammered in the play offs.

Fulham missed 9 penalties and their top scorer had 14 less than ours -and they still finished above Leeds whistle

Crucially, none of the other teams had a millstone of an owner called Massimo Cellino...

Yes, there is a great irony in that if Leeds had got promotion, the co-owner would probably not have been able to afford to buy out Mr Cellino. Silver (not Leslie) linings and all that.

Well, looks like Cellino has gone and Radrizzani has finally replaced him. I really hope we haven't just swapped one mad Italian for another but only time will tell; guess the first test will be whether or not he manages to do a deal to retain Garry Monk.....

I saw that. Do we know the reason why he has gone. I thought he was doing alright for Leeds?

And first test failed; rumour is the new owner didn't much care for Monk and that the feeling might have been mutual but guess it will all come out in the wash over the next few weeks. Personally I'm disappointed Monk's gone but the question now is who next?!

You've been promoted to the promised land and all you can think of is coming back to this thread to quote my post? wink

Seriously, congratulations on winning the play offs. I won't lie, it hurt watching you folks win but you deserved it.

What can I say? I'm petty as fk rofl

Jokes aside, sorry to see Monk leave you lot, I thought that he had a good formula and plan and thought, since you missed out this season, he'd get you where you needed to be next time around!

If we can't have it this year then it might as well be another Yorkshire team! I still have no idea how you did it, but good on ya to be honest.

Obviously I would have preferred it to be us but well done Huddersfield, reckon they deserved it yesterday and across the season as a whole. Personally I'd also far rather see a Yorkshire team in the top flight than another from down South so good luck to Town for next season!

So new manager has been appointed, and it's absolutely no-one we thought it might be.

So it's either a Spanish Dave Hockaday or a genius appointment by the new owner.

Time will tell.
