I know it's unhealthy but was playing about with some scenarios and came up with a prediction of:
Brentford 83 points league champs on GD
Leeds 83 points
WBA 82 points
Not sure my nerves could take it tbh - lets hope our neighbours take 3 points from WBA tonight..!!

I'm a Brentford season ticket holder. We are playing amazing football at the moment and I would love to see us in the premier League for sure BUT we still have to play Derby who are on fire at the moment as long as Rooney stays fit and Preston NE who are also fighting for the play offs I agree if you had a Watkins as number 9 this would be a done deal a long time
ago however I think you will eventually stutter over the line as champions or second place and be in the division all football supporters want to see you in ( The prem) The players need to relax get the job done and then Leeds and Brentford will meet at our new stadium next year (I hope) and if Brentford don't get the job done this year we will welcome you when we get promoted next season. Leeds will do it but they won't make it easy. Good luck guys it will be fine
Brentford maximum point is 87 if they win all of their games - but that's a big ask for any team
I would expect 85 points would be enough so 10 points from 18 should be enough to do the job
Melman - personally I hope you guys make it. Last in the top flight in 1947 I believe I heard and could be there for your first time in so long in your brand new ground, that would be awesome for you
As long as Cardiff don't sneak up in the play-offs. Haven't been able to stand them since that FA cup game when Sam Hammam was there

Good win today at Blackburn.
5 to go
It was a good win but compared to the Luton game it just illustrated again it's fine margins and that you often need a bit of luck to help you on your way. For example, Kilch's challenge prior to our first goal was arguably a foul while our third goal was a gift from their goalkeeper; therefore, for all our undoubted dominance and superiority on another day we could have come away with only a draw!5 to go
Anyway, thankfully we didn't and it's still in our hands. I imagine Stoke on Thursday will set-up in a similar way to Luton (i.e. pack the defence and hope to pinch a goal on the break or from a set-piece) so it will be interesting to see if Hernandez starts in an attempt to counter that; without his creativity we certainly seem to struggle to break teams down....
Leeds have an appalling record in London -something like no wins in 22 visits to London clubs. So 1pt is probably all we can hope for in final match against Charlton. Mind you we hadn't beaten bogey team Fulham in our previous 7 games against them.
3 wins needed - but for me it is too tight now.

We don't have to go to London, we're at home to Charlton in our final game! 3 wins needed - but for me it is too tight now.
Fair play to both Brentford last night and WBA tonight, they did what they needed to do and hence the pressure is now on us. Doesn't feel to me like we're going to be able to afford to drop too many points in our final five games so we really need to beat Stoke tomorrow - if we stumble like we did against Luton last week then Brentford are going to be far too close for comfort....

You will beat Stoke tonight, they are awful. I think you'll need 7 more points, maybe 8 and you'll be up.
You were right, Stoke are pretty poor; 5-0 tonight probably flattered them if anything!Regardless, an excellent result for us tonight, 7 points required from our remaining 4 games....
What a great team performance and nice to see 5 players get on the scoresheet. Pablo certainly makes the difference.
2 wins and a draw is certainly do-able but it would be nice for Brentford to drop some points to give us some breathing space but then thats not the Leeds way is it...!! Roll on Sunday.

I've given Bamford some stick and was expecting to feel the same way again yesterday after he hit the bar and then didn't throw himself at the ball from a cross. But what a finish that was last night
6 points should be enough. Although they look strong Brentford would have to have won 10 in a row to match it - in which case they would probably deserve to go up!!
Barnsley and Charlton should be wins
Derby look to be struggling with the number of injuries/suspensions so winnable also
Swansea at the weekend is important as our record in South Wales is awful. Take something from there and confidence will be sky high. A wobble could cause the nerves to jangle
Have to say though that next week is massive - having 2 games in 48 hours will be tough and seems typical of the EFL mentality towards Leeds, can't recall anybody else having to do that
