Amazing transfer window. Moreso after seeing how quickly Koch and Rodrigo have settled in and how good they both look. If Llorente and Raphinha are up to the same standard, we're looking like a serious outfit.

My father in law is a Palace fan who is constantly expecting them to get walloped. Its weird, Leeds going up to me doesn't feel at all like we're there just to survive. Feels like the way we play, the team we have (both in spirit and ability), the fans and the manager/backroom staff and right up to board level that we're here to make an instant impact on the top half of the table with our attractive no fear football. We saw on Saturday what happened when we were thinking "we're the newly promoted team" and what happened after 20 minutes when something clicked and we matched them comfortably until the last 10 minutes when we started to tire (although I believe bringing Leif Davis on at such a crucial point in the game maybe unsteadied us a bit).

Agreed, I think we've had a more than decent transfer window. The only disappointment for me was that we failed to sign an attacking, creative, midfielder; I've always thought very highly of Hernandez but we just can't rely on him to play lots of games and hence I think we still need someone who's capable of assuming his role. To that extent I was disappointed the deal for Cuisance didn't go through but I suppose there's still a chance we could look at the likes of Cantwell or Benrahma before the window with the Championship closes?

Saints fan here, but have an affinity for Rennes and have watched Raphina a fair bit over the last season.

I'm intrigued to see how he'll get on in the PL. He's technically very, very good. Can beat a man and has pace. Has chipped in with a few goals, but perhaps not as many as you'd hope. He's also one of the types who goes down pretty easily and rolls around a bit, which is a shame. Has a bit of a temper, too - I can see him losing his head in the PL, if the opposition resort to sthousery tactics.

I'm pleased that he got his move, though. Definitely an exciting player to watch, though my gut feeling is he might not come up with as much end product as you'd hope over the course of the season. You'll have a couple of games where he's unplayable, though, and they'll rave about him on MOTD.

Best of luck to him, and to you guys. Good to see you back in the prem!

I don't think he'll be a guaranteed starter, however; if you're going to play him as a winger you would have to drop Costa or Harrison, both of whom have had excellent starts to the season. I do wonder if Bielsa has him pegged a\s a possible No.10, and cover for our two wingers.

A hard lesson tonight; thought we dominated the 1st half but when you do that and don't score you always worry it will come back to bite you and so it proved. Wolves probably got a bit lucky with the deflection for their goal but they were much better in the 2nd half and restricted us to next to no chances after the break; overall I thought we deserved something out of the game but sadly it wasn't to be.

Anyway, on to Villa Park on Friday - they're going really well so that will be a very tough match, especially if we're pretty much out of central defenders!

For some reason, we don't seem great at handling breaks in the season! Working their arses off for months on end though? No problem!

Looked short of ideas in the second half and though the deflection was unlucky you could feel the goal coming

Looked better once they brought Pablo on

The one thing that I notice most though is just how poor our crossing is. Whilst Harrison and Costa both work hard, the quality of the final ball is poor in most cases. They hit the first man on a regular basis, and it's not the first time I've commented on it

Agreed - towards the end of the game the cross ratio was something bonkers like 24:8 in our favour with absolutely no end product. Everything was either too high or too close to Patricio. Poor really because when crosses did come in there were players in the box.

Well that pissed all over villas bonfire didn't it!

Match fitness is unreal, and Bamford hatrick was sublime. Happy with that.

Typical, I decide not to fork out for pay per view and look what happens! smile

A great result against a Villa side that's been going really well, very pleased to see Bamford continue to prove doubters like me completely wrong!

What a way to bounce back, Paddy has found his level.

Hell of a week as a Leeds fan, I volunteer with the Leeds Foodbank and we’ve raised over £50k this week from online donations after aiming to beat the 22k the Newcastle Foodbank raised for their Boycott PPV campaign

[Assume there is an OMG WTF speechless meme gif here ok...]

I wish my caveman brain would stop making predictions. After the last match, I expected us to lose this 2-0. I should know better really. Wow, should I...

I know we have played one game more than the rest, but as it stands tonight, LUFC are in 3rd place in the Premier League (and have just beaten the 2nd place team). I'm under no illusions, so I'm enjoying the moment. There are more than a few glowing words from neutrals in the comments sections of the media tonight. Some from the Villa supporters too. Sky must like us too (I suspected they might) because they have rescheduled 2 more matches to show them live. The cherry on the cake is the amount of cash generated for food banks by the PPV protest.

ESPN are trotting out the old "Leeds won't keep up the pace" forgetting that there are 8 games fewer than in the Championship, we have played like this for 2 seasons and last season was nearly 11 months long. Don't look to see who are in 15th place, you might injure your smirking muscles...

I was nervous too heading into this match, but what has become very apparent is the level of fitness is remarkable, villa looked knackered after an hour, whereas Leeds kept up the ferocious intensity. It was nuts to see 7 or 8 of them blazing forward in the 95th minute with the same speed as if they had just kicked off.

Its joyous to watch. More of the same please and il be a happy Leeds fan this year. I know 2020 has been a silly season in the PL but I reckon they are clear of any relegation battle, and any more than thst is a bonus for me this season.

Bielsa, absolute genius. Never heard of him before quite a few years ago when his Athletic Bilbao side absolutely took apart a decent Utd side. Watched him pace up and down , very intense but never jumping up and down, just so focused. You are lucky to have him in charge and he is great for the Prem (just wish he spoke English !!)

He speaks English, he just dislikes giving interviews in English as he doesn’t want to be misinterpreted.

I find the complaints about him using a translator strange to say the least. The man has transformed our club and our city yet people seem to just focus on his bucket and his preference to use a translator. Peculiar

No complaints, it all adds to his unique character. He just seems such a humble bloke in a world of ' it's all about me' types.

Score prediction for tonight vs Leicester? I'm thinking 2-2 myself and we'll hopefully see more of Raphina tonight.

I'm going for a 2-1 to Leeds, but I wouldn't put any money on it... Agreed with Raphinha, looks more versatile than Costa, who was particularly poor tracking Grealish back and almost conceded because of it.
