Delighted with that. As the game was nesting it's end I felt really disappointed. I knew it would pass but it felt like a bit of shine had come off the thing. But I must have celebrated that goal as much as any this season, pedhaps those late winners against Sunderland and Blades aside.

Farke absolutely should stay and I think these rumours could have been a good thing in terms or getting people behind him. Perhaps even it was a cynical plot by the owners to gauge the mood? Bit far fetched perhaps..

Seems like Marathe has finally moved to dismiss the rumours about Farke's future - good news and not before time!

Its almost the best and worst of modern media / social media.

News, or rather rumours, spread so fast these days and every one cottons on to it without actually questioning where or whom it's come from.

Case in point - the brief clip of DF sat on his own in the dugout shortly after the whistle as everyone else was throwing limbs.

On the Internet (twitter!), this quickly becomes 'he knows he's been sacked, he's not joining in with the celebrations'.

Back in real life though - it was literally a few seconds of a clip, the blokes just come to culmination of a huge, presumably incredibly stressful season, and maybe just wanted a second on his own to let it settle in? Never mind the fact that minutes later he's leaping around and grinning ear to ear chatting with the pundits and travelling Radio Leeds lot.

He's been great, and delivered big time. The team and the supporters can't ask for more than that. Respect!

Eeeexcellent! I think we'll need a calm head in control of a team that is playing well together. Even if we need more experienced players, they are already the basis of a better team. I can't see any other manager coming in and keeping team cohesion. A season ticket waiting list of 28,000 is mindboggling!

28,000... wow... I remember easily getting season tickets for £300 a year for 1999-2002 seasons, then when Rio joined us in 2000 (I think) we were flying high. Will point out that I believe £300 was student concession rates as was at Uni at the time, then got expensive and couldnt justify it on a low wage.

Sadly I moved away from Leeds and only attended a handful of games since.

Absolute pandemonium in Leeds today, being streamed on YouTube if anyone wants a look. Massive turnout.

Absolutely amazing scenes from town today. Where's the plum who says we wouldn't fill a 56,000 stadium hehe

I had planned on going in for it but wife was poorly so ended not going in.

Managed to catch the start of it

Then followed it round to the end

150k or so fans lining the street, this is what we missed out on last time round.

We’re gonna stay with you forever, at least until the world stops going round

Drove near city centre this afternoon (past the old YEP building - towards the tunnels): seen loads of fans walking back (home/towards parked cars?).
All sporting Adidas LUFC attire. Good to see. smile

It looks like the transfers have started. Good to see they aren't waiting until the last minute.
Lukas Nmecha from Wolfsburg (free) due on 1st July
Jaka Bijol (center back with Udinese, £18.7M) seems to have been agreed but not yet signed.

Talk of Gabriel Gudmundsson from Lille, Diarra from Strasbourg who scored against England last week but that's less likely according to those in the known on Waccoe. Then we still in the market for a goalkeeper (Nick Pope) and a few more, Muniz from Fulham has been mentioned.

First match of the season, Everton at ER on the Monday night, hopefully start with a win as we have Arsenal and Newcastle after that.

End of season fixtures could be a lot worse!

18/04/2026 15:00 Leeds United v Wolves
25/04/2026 15:00 Bournemouth v Leeds United
02/05/2026 15:00 Leeds United v Burnley
09/05/2026 15:00 Tottenham v Leeds United
17/05/2026 15:00 Leeds United v Brighton
24/05/2026 16:00 West Ham United v Leeds United

9 teams involved with European matches this season, so potential for them to get a bit distracted/injured. Yes, I'm grasping at straws, but it all counts!

Hopefully we'll be in the heady heights of 14th or 15th place by that point of the season and 5 or 6 points above the relegation places scrap hehe

It's good to see a bit of action on the transfer front but depressing that mediocre squad players are quoted with £20m+ price tags, and decent players upwards of 40m. Hopefully our scouts are doing some good work in the lower and overseas leagues unearthing some £3-5m Tanaka type bargains

Anyone know why Bijol signing is taking so long to get over the line?

According to the ITK people on Waccoe, it's completed but we're waiting on some paperwork from the premier League.

Potentially already has completed but we just haven't announced it yet.

Ok, that is reassuring, I was worried about an 11th hour hijack...

Might be linked in PSR I guess and only get confirmed July 1st.
