To be honest I couldn't care less if we were bought by Hitlers Grandson as long as they are willing to invest some cash into the team & get the right manager!

Damn straight - Just look how Chelski are doing with their dodgy money. I'm sure Shinawatra's a really nice guy when you get to know him and his 2 billion

I thought I'd give this thread a worthwile bump biggrin as plenty has gone on since the last post.

Now the takeover has gone through and it looks like Sven has a few Baht to spend who would you like to see brought in?

It looks lke Rolando Bianchi is going to be our Swede's first signing....

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/m...

We're desperate for wingers/attacking midfielders so wouldn't mind bidding for Ryan Babel who Liverpool are after as he can play on either side.

Oh and Yakubu from Boro would be a good target man...

We need a new midfield really,
Johnson is too young and still needs a little bit of guidance to help him develop into the player he promises to be,
Ireland is too lightweight for a full season and isnt showing his full capabilities,
So 4 new midfielders please Sven
We still need a centre back as Nedum is too injury prone for my liking, even though IMO i think he makes a better right back than Micah.
Need 2 more strikers, as this guy from Reggina, Mpenza and Vassell wont see us through.

Sounds as though Petrov has just to agree personal terms....could be your left hand side sorted.

Petrov's here, looks a half decent player.
I think Leighton Baines would be a decent buy, £5.5m for a young England left back, ticks all the boxes for me,
I still think Owen could be a Super Blue too.

Well,
In 35 games time I think the current league position would be acceptable for us

Nah, after the start we've made I'd be disappointed winkbiggrin

Great game/goal by Bianchi last night, could he be the quality up front we're looking for?

HAHA was really tickled by us 'rotating the squad' too!

Not going to happen now.....

Nicolas Anelka has ended speculation about his future by signing a new four-year contract with Bolton.

Just wanted to say that I have been watching City for over 25 years & IMHO today was as good a football as I have ever seen them play. In Elano we have a supreme talent not seen since Gio arrived. If you think I am delusional in any way watch MOTD tonight & tell me you have seen a better individual performance from anyone this season?

Great game against Newcastle, And you could see in the 2nd half the players were enjoying it too, Credit to Newcastle for coming to play.
We are more suited to play 'footballing' teams, the likes of Bolton and Blackburn we will struggle as we aint got that muscle.
You can see week by week were improving as the players are still gelling, And who back in June would have said Didi Hamman had a future with us, not me, the guy is having a stormer, and Johnson is learning from him and his midfield buddies.

PS - Has Stevie Ireland had a hair transplant?
