I know it's nit picking, but I'm getting extremely concerned about Sterling's glaring misses in front of goal, two sitters today that a five year old should have scored. This could be crucial against teams like Barcelona, PSG and Real Madrid.
He could and should be on over twenty goals by now.
However, another great win against a rather poor Spuds side, last year they would have beaten us.
Happy days.......

i can't believe this is city i'm watching. so many sliding doors moments over the last 20 years to get here. 'best team in the land and all the world' sung tongue in cheek for decades!
Barcelona, Bayern, PSG will be the test this season as to whether they are a great team or not. It's way too early for the fat ladies to sing.
If you win the treble (or more) I'll congratulate you on what would be a tremendous feat.
Premiership on it's own is neither here or there you've won it before and failed to make any mark whatsoever in Europe. An interesting season though so far, very unexpected.

How do you reconcile becoming the club you always hated? Or does that not matter if you win stuff?i can't believe this is city i'm watching. so many sliding doors moments over the last 20 years to get here. 'best team in the land and all the world' sung tongue in cheek for decades!

Pinched from the Spuds thread.

Interesting reading and I personally find it both exciting and, strangely reassuring as far as English football is ,concerned.

They've become another Chelsea, they don't care who hates them and why should they?
Do you care who hates Spurs?Anyhow is it hatred or is it envy?
A few seasons back David Whelan, owner of Wigan, was moaning that the money in football was creating an unfair imbalance. This from a man who'd funded the rise of Wigan from obscurity to Premier League.
The truth is everyone believes the acceptable level of funding is the amount their club can compete with and anything above that is financial doping.
If we're now at the start of a City era just get over it.

Exactly. I wish there was a way of equaling all the clubs out but it ain't going to happen.
You're right. In the same way it would be great if all clubs could be run with the same ethos but we all know Spurs fans will hold the moral high ground.
