Well, I’m not happy about it but tbh there’s very little I can do about it,
I don’t really care if I’m honest and more importantly from a personal view, nothing is going to stop me supporting my team through thick and thin and nothing is going to stop me being both grateful and impressed in what they’ve done for rhe area and in turning City into not only being the best team in Manchester by a long, long way but also in the country and possibly even Europe.
I don’t think think any teams owners are whiter than white and anyone who thinks so is a bit naive.
HTH.

How do you know it wasn’t a fair trial?. Were you there or are you just going off what his wife says?

I lived in the UAE for 12 years and never had any issues with the law there (well, other than speeding tickets ...). At the very least, this chap seems to have been very naive, particularly for someone who has lived there in the past.

Invariably, tales of how terrible the UAE justice system is are whipped up by the media and ignore the fact that, eg, people shagging on a beach (after two warnings!) would be in trouble with the law here, too.

Suspect said chap will be released on National Day next week.

PS good result for your lads; not sure it helps you get into the top 4 by the end of the year, though ...

As a Liverpool fan I have to say it’s yours to lose this year sadly.

You are destroying the “lesser” teams where as we are scraping wins

5 minute trial with no lawyer? Sounds fair.

I can understand you wanting to separate the club ownership from st like this but trying to defend it is disgraceful - whether the guy is guilty or not.

We scraped a 3-0 win against Watford, who were seventh in the league.

I thought we were really jammy - they missed some real sitters in the first half.

At least we scored a couple of different goals - if they stop the pretty passing goals we can still score headers from set pieces. Aguero's leap and hover was superb - he made their 6'4" centre backs look like mugs.

Hard fought for win last night against Watford, in the end we were sweating a bit towards the end.

As Pep said, 2-0 is a dangerous score line, you really need that third goal to kill things off, and even then you can never be sure.

Overall though, we are where we want to be.

Amusing to see Ederson booked for time-wasting. Even as a Watford fan!

Care to share your opinion on the sponsorships/strategic partnerships utd have with companies/government authority from those bastions of human rights, Qatar, Russia and Saudi Arabia and how said sponsorships/partnerships will help them to make up EIGHTEEN points on City and SIXTEEN points on Liverpool?
