It’s just struck me my mindset is changing.
In the old days, at 3-2, I’d have thought “here we go again”.
But at no point was I in any doubt we’d win easily.
Happy days smile

De Bruyne is just on a different level at the moment - those two slide rule passes were both sublime and ridiculous, in equal measure bow

(Is there any chance of you loaning him to West Ham in January? laugh)

The great thing at the moment is how everyone is getting on the score sheet.
OK, we miss Sergio, but it’s not like we’re a 1 man team like the Spuds wink

Hmmm scratchchin how many goals would you have scored yesterday without De Bruyne?

What would the score have been against Chelsea without De Bruyne's goal?

wink

Thing is though, De Bruyne IS part of the City team, so the point is a bit odd. I imagine Barca and Argentina wouldn't be so good without Messi, but they're not without him.

Here's the thing...tell stuartmmfc that wink Spurs aren't without Kane but even when they were last season they ended your good start to the season and scored more goals without Kane playing.

Thrashing injured Stoke is all well and good. And they're being hyped as the best team in Europe right now. The match against Napoli on Tues will be a good test of how far they've come (or not).

Aren't Napoli the only top flight team in Europe to have won all of their games ? Pretty sure they are .

Will be a great game,

They won 3-0 again yesterday.

No one at City takes things for granted at all, even though we’re currently the best team in the PL this season.
However the Stoke match wasn’t exactly a one off this season was it? There’s been a couple of tests so far and we seem to have passed with flying colours smile
The difference this season seems to be about desire, work rate and really playing as a team, none of which have been consistent qualities previously.
Even a poor result on Tuesday wouldn’t diminish the progress under Pep currently.

As a side thought, how comes Stones, Walker and Sterling (and Delph to a certain extent) can hold a place in the team and don’t look out of place but look bang average when playing for England. Pep for England (eventually smile )

They have also thrashed Liverpool and comfortably beaten Chelsea.

Neither are exactly setting the world alight but they are hardly duffers.
