Spurs the likely destination you reckon? Wolves have been weirdly poor this year...
I`d have thought he`ll be off back to his family in Portugal for the time being. He`s previously said that lockdown has been very difficult for him.

I wish him well, I`m sad to see him leave, even though this season hasn`t been the best.

It wouldn't surprise me to be honest. He's hardly seen his family during covid and has looked like a broken man at points during this season. I'm gutted he's going but can't see that it is for anything other than a break as if he was off to Spurs or any other club you'd assume we'd want to collect the compo for him.

Thanks for the memories Nuno!

Really gutted he's leaving, there were times this season when I questioned Nuno he seemed completely dejected at times.

Apparently spurs aren't interested and BBC WM chap seems pretty convinced he'll go back to Portugal. Which you couldn't blame him. As said above he hasn't seen his family.

After Neves signed I renewed my season ticket (after a couple years of er taking a break) it has been the best time i've had watching Wolves. It was a pleasure to go to the Molinuex every other week. European nights amazing, and watching our club at Wembley. It's been an incredible journey.

I wish him all the best for his future, I hope he brings the same joy to another club that he brought to ours.

Frankly amazed you lot have let him go, I’m no Wolves fan but have enjoyed watching his teams play, yes you’ve had a rough year but what with Himenez head injury and the sale of Jota, that’s a lot of goals gone. Big mistake if you ask me.

You can’t keep someone who wants to leave.

Ah, I got the impression from Sky he’d been given the push due to results.

Yes, it was a sacking. 99% of “mutual consent” situations are a sacking, it just means that a slightly more amicable/acceptable to both parties settlement has been reached. Nuno knows that Jorge Mendes will get him into a good job when he’s good and ready.

Nuno was told of Fosun’s decision last Monday, before it was announced on Friday. The players were told 3/4 hours before the announcement was made public.

Fosun want a change of direction. What does that mean? Well, partially they want an especially attack minded coach, but the biggest cause for the breakdown in relations was that the budget will be likely slashed considerably for next season, whereas Nuno had quite a shopping list for new players to kick on to the next level.

It’s clear that COVID has been difficult for Nuno and he’s not been in a good place at times this season. He will be glad to spend some quality time back home with his family for now I feel.

I had hoped dearly that a good break, then a proper pre-season would have got everyone back firing on all cylinders.

Going to be a major shuffling of the pack this summer I should think.

Lage is in the UK for talks.

This doesn’t feel like progress to me..

So Nuno's been linked to Palace and Everton...

Still pretty gutted that he's gone to be honest.

I genuinely thought he’d resigned from Wolves for whatever reasons and would be taking a break. No way did I think he’d been sacked. WTF is your owner on to do that?

No doubt he’ll now replace him with someone who takes you to the title hehe

Supposedly it was the club wanting to go in a different direction.

We got good results, but I must admit the football was a little dry to watch sometimes.
I'd like to see us go and play attacking football and make an attempt to smash results, rather than most results being 1-0 or 1-1.

I guess the Nuno reign had to come to an end eventually, and I'm glad it was as smooth as it was.

Hopefully we see more goals next season. I know we had Raul out for most of it, but with the other players we have then you'd expect us to be scoring more. Comes to something when we score only 36 goals for the season, when clubs with much lesser squads score considerably more.

Bruno Lage had a 100 goal season with Benfica, admittedly in a much easier league, but I'm optimistic that it'll be much better to watch regardless of where we end up finishing in the table.

I will be honest, I thought this was going to be a tough game for us today (I'm Brentford) but you gays were poor. Even with us down to 10 men and with all your changes you still didn't look like scoring.

We were bad, but gay? I’m not so sure…
