Officially 2nd... Woohoo. This clearly means we will win the league this year. A forgone conclusion, and all that.

Peanuts retired from international footy. At least we won't loose him for the African fruit loops cup.

With Evra playing so poorly and Cole not getting a new contract, I think there's going to be a high demand for quality left backs in the summer.

Rather worried by all the sudden talk of Champions League, long, long way to go with a quality, but thin squad (Leeds exposed this). It's nice to get some attention for once, but let's not get too carried away.

Agree. Moyes pretty much said the same, BUT, it is needed exposure for the club, (which they seem incapable of creating).

It would be Baines, wouldn't it? Ah well, rather him than anyone else.

Thought a draw was fair. You guys had the spell in the first half, and we in the second, (although your first was offside). Still, better than a loss, (I suppose).

Games like yesterday illustrate our weakness in not having a decent defensive midfielder.
Gibson is the answer, but if he's not available then who do we use? Fellaini can do it but then we lose his awesomeness further up the pitch, Heitinga might be able to do it but Moyes doesn't seem to want to use him that way and Neville certainly can't do it.

It's the same reason we lost the Leeds game as well.

I`ve heard we have offered Hitzlsberger a short term contract and plays tonight for the U21/Ressies. Comes from the usual decent source.

Moysey gets Barclays "Manager of the Month" award, an accolade that guarantees
defeat against QPR this week! wink

Hitzlsberger is a good loan signing if he can stay fit, looks like we will another go for Oviedo in Jan, so that makes sense to me. Gibson back for QPR, we've definately missed him and it underlines our squad depth problems, so let's hope we have a full side out for the derby, one match we have to win.

It'll be a tough game, these small clubs are scrapping for any points they can get already.

Seems I put my size nines in it again, Fellaini out for 3 weeks or so with a knee injury, good chance he'll miss the derby.

Bugger. Hopefully Gibson will be up and about by then.
