Rooney talk is back on the agenda. He as not been flooded with offers and his Mrs is not to happy about China, he will see what he can get from us. If it were left to me I would offer him pay per game or nowt, it's not as he needs the dough after being on 300k per week for the last couple of seasons.

I wonder what the future holds for Wayne.....He's never going to get punditry work, no one can understand what he says, and I don't think most people would listen to him if you could understand him.
I cant see him going into football management.
In days of old he would have bought a pub of course.

Jamie Carragher seems to be doing ok & he's a whinny talking so & so. I think Wayne would make a decent pundit tbhHe's never going to get punditry work, no one can understand what he says, and I don't think most people would listen to him if you could understand him.

Record Utd scorer & record England scorer ! I reckon we'd all like to know what he thinks about the game we all love.

Carragher might have an awful voice (no offence scousers, as I know Everton fans mostly do come from Liverpool, unlike your neighbours) but he can convey his thoughts pretty well. He's got a bit of charisma, quick-wit etc. He makes a good TV pundit, especially with Gary Neville opposite. Just wish he wasn't so biased for your neighbours.Record Utd scorer & record England scorer ! I reckon we'd all like to know what he thinks about the game we all love.
Rooney probably has an IQ in double digits and has all the charisma of a dead otter. But then he's got enough money to last anyone a lifetime, he doesn't need the work.

Rooney has occasionally appeared in front of the cameras at some games, but he was devoid of reasonable insight, and hasn't been asked back. Hard to understand but nothing much worth saying either. How many Blues on here are really excited for the coming season. I really do think after a few false dawns in recent years we are now looking really positive, my nerves are tingling and I just cannot wait for the start of the season. I have given my all to this club in football terms since 1966, in fact Saturdays or Sundays league result is my mood set for the week. I remember great years in the 70s and 80s I was there when we beat BM in the semi which was the best night of my life, I am 62 now, and I just want to see us get to a new stadium, blood my four year old grandson in Goodison win a trophy then I will be a happy man. I haven't had this 'feeling' since the late 1980's, when we were competing at the very top of the game. It's clear that we have been able to afford and attract a better quality of player, while still doing some clever business like Sandro. The stadium is key and I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but I think we are in for a good season. There's a growing story that Lukaku is staying, personally don't think it will happen but if he does I hope we kept the receipts for Keane, Klassen etc!!!Edited by hilly10 on Saturday 24th June 23:37

Looking forward to the season starting and doing a couple of pilgrimages to Goodison.Edited by hilly10 on Saturday 24th June 23:37
I'm a happy man but felt like this last summer. Difference this year is getting players early.
I think we will have a season similar to last, but 6points off the rs would be a result The bitter in me is strong.
The stadium is key to our future. Just wish we had some idea of what to look forward to but understand why the club arent rushing out designs early.
I think Lakaku will stay.
Put a £10 bet on 150/1 we win the league. Thats worse odds than last year!

You are dead right on the Stadium. All the season tickets sold out in 4 days, so only restricted veiwing will be available. I would think 50,000 capacity will still sell out every game. I'm a happy man but felt like this last summer. Difference this year is getting players early.
