What are your thoughts on my suggestion Hilly? Rodgers
I do not think it would ever work with Rodgers and to be honest I cannot see the board going anywhere near him, plus he is a happy bunny at Celtic, lets be honest Celtic only have to turn up to win in that league. He as found his niche m3sye said:
I covered my reasons above he is on 3m a year or something at Celtic - offer 7/8m he is yours - no way he would turn down a double your salary offer
Celtic could counter the offer though, maybe not double, but 1 or 2 millListening to Rodgers last week, I really don't think he will be going anywhere unless he's told to go. Boyhood club, winning games, 60,000 fans a week, some Europe matches thrown in as well.

I get the impression he wouldn't leave mid season and would probably be there next season as well. It does surprise me that he doesn't get linked with Premier League jobs very often.
I don't think Liverpool got an upgrade in Klopp in any area other than personality to be honest.
His Liverpool record is inferior to Rogers i believe.I don't think Liverpool got an upgrade in Klopp in any area other than personality to be honest.
He's just a bit of a , well a tt really.
Rogers will stay until the end of the season and may only then want to listen to offers.
So if we put a temp manager like Sam in until the end of the season he might be in with a shout if he wants to leave Celtic on a high.
However I trhink we will put someone permanent in, not panic and get a temp in.
Would I want Rogers? I think he would do, certainly football is usually exciting when he manages. It's interesting that Liverpool fans seem to hold him with disregard, when he took them within minutes of a title -Suarez or not - and his replacement, whilst being a nice bloke, isn't doing any better. In fact, he's doing worse, arguably. I love Klopp as one of the most interesting and entertaining of blokes, but I just don't think Liverpool have improved and in fact appear to have slipped out of the 'top four' now. Not sure the top three finish last season was anything deserved, others seemed to slip to let that happen.
It's a real shame that there's a two week break, we needed to get another win under our belts asap. Momentum could be lost.
