Here's hoping the team turn up today.

A good display and comfortable win is needed here.
They’ve turned up, just look like most of them haven’t been properly introduced to each other.....

First thirty minutes Bournemouth looked much the better team with far more ideas.

Yep, agreed. Lucky not to be a couple down after half an hour.
Hope the last 10-15 minutes spell we had continues for the second half.

Pickford has lost the plot with his distribution though, some fking horrific clearances there when under no pressure.

Quite entertaining last 20 minutes, would have been nice to score that second ten minutes earlier.

Phew, as you say.

Feel sorry for Bournemouth and Eddie Howe.

Thought I'd best bring us back up on to page 1 with the big boyssmile

So is it 3 points for us today? How will we set up here?

Attack like headless chickens and go 2-0 down before bringing Tosun on in the last 20th minute to salvage it?

Or play like we did against Chelsea, ManU and Liverpool with confidence, bite and an impressive counter attack?

With this team I just don't know anymore what to expect, it could be 5-1 or 1-5 lol.

I think we'll win 2-1. Both us and Southampton are st at the moment, but I think we're a bit less st than they are!

Yes, totally.

As a long time season ticket holder I've followed the blues since I was two.
I've seen the John Mcloughlins, the Imre Varadi's. the Rod Belfits but also the Kevin Richardsons, Kevin Ratcliffes and Peter Reids who all fought and punched above their weight.

Moysie got cash strapped fking Everton in to a team people feared for a while.

But this lot??? fk me for once in my life time we have a budget and what to we do with it? We p1ss it up the wall.

Apparantly we now need to offload multi million pound dross to bring in new blood that may just be proud enough to wear the shirt and give it a go, the cash seems to have gone nowhere.

And Silva? fking Silva?, why? why the panic to get him in the dug out, I've seriously no idea what made the board think this was the man.

Yep, we'll take a top 6 scalp shortly as we always do and Silva will be safe again and all will be Rosy once more.

Sadly it won't wash with me now. Just watch this game tonight and see the difference in spirit and pride between these 2 teams. Shameful and honestly the worst team considering what its cost to build this squad that I've ever witnessed. Something so very wrong here.

I've bked people in the past for knocking the lads but this shower now need knocking....useless.

Yes just very embarrassing, I was lucky to see Harry Catericks side win the league-in the seventies ,
And Howards great sides in the eighties , even Joe Royals dogs of war side would piss on this lot, I enjoyed seeing David Moyes side grind a result out , with no money at all , but bugger me we are a worse outfit now then ever i can remember, this Arab at the club now must wonder what the fk he,s let him self in for,

We're being mild too Phil reading what the thousands on the Grand old team forum are saying, I've not seen such apathy for years, not even deep bile just apathy at the st we have turning out for us.

We've nobody I'd lose a wink of sleep with if they fked off tomorrow.

Our stars, the one's we pin our hopes on? Richarlison for instance looked like he was wearing two mini trampolines rather than boots today and the rest of them, maybe Zouma excepted were just as bad.

Plus the frightening thing is, just say if Calvert Lewin woke up tomorrow and became the equal of Ronaldo as many hope he will lol............ManC, ManU, or Chelsea would steam in and nick him off us whether he'd signed a 5 year contract for us or not. This is simply not the Everton any more I grew up supporting.

As I say I don't know where they go from here now.........sell the lot and bring in new blood hahaha?, we'd not have much in our pockets if we did that I fear.

Sure , i some times think , a relegation battle would be more appealing , but maybe the outcome there may not be what we want, but ive never seen them in the lower division ,and im old, starting afresh with home grown players and backing staff would be more appealing than this lot, at least we may win a couple on the bounce, what is it two wins in eleven, we cant beat top six, but now we are struggling against ,your Watfords, Brighton, Southampton, Wolves, could go on , i said a few pages back on here ,before Christmas ,were are the points coming from,

Again I agree, especially with regards to the backroom staff.

They get Klopp, we get Silva, they get Salah and we get Cenk Tosun (34m v 28m).

They used to have King Kenny, we had Howard to combat the threat, they had Rush and we got Andy Gray and Lineker......bring back the good times FFS.

What we have is what you get when you bring in a load of outsiders for whom it is just a very well-paid job. No particular interest in the club so they just bring in a load of players who in theory are an improvement on what's there already. I guess when it works (Watford, Man City) it's great but when far more often it doesnt work (Everton, Newcastle) it's really depressing for the supporters. We assume that the players were good at their previous clubs but for some reason it's not working at Everton and it could simply be that they dont actually give a f*** in which case you have to question the management. Wasn't convinced Silva was the right appointment (Olympiakos are like Celtic and then a relegation and a sacking) at the time and I still havent seen anything to make me think we've got the right man for the next 5 years. There are plenty of good British players out there but we dont seem to be able to find them or develop them and we need a home grown core.

I have better insight into this than most but you don’t have to be a genius to work out Tosun doesn’t fit the mould for a premier league striker. All that type of player are going by the wayside, Giroud, Carroll, Morata, Mitrovic ets don’t have the mobility to play in a 4-5-1 formation or 4-3-3 when attacking. All the top teams in the premier league have mobility and rotation in the front 3.

Richarleson unfortunately has followed the path he did last season and gone of the boil. It’s one of the lowest I have felt for a long time as a fan. Silva looks like a dead man walking.
