Totally agree with the above 2 posts. We all seem to understand the issues but the board and management don't.
Silva and Tosun as we've already discussed, just why? A guy puts millions and millions of pounds in to the club and it is squandered like this? Surely to God he must have been a bit wary when signings like this were made and the millions started to dissapear. As I said above, in the scale of things Salah was not a lot more expensive than Tosun, but jeez he would be now. So who have we bought that has set the game alight recently? Nobody.
We all scoffed at the Sam appointment and at the time so did I to a point but knew it was only a 6 month thing, however even Sams CV reads better than Silva's doesn't it? Especially what he did on a budget at Bolton.
How come a few years back we were "stealing" and growing gems like Coleman and Cahill and Osman, and now we pay through the nose for unproven ste..
In fact the likes of Cahill is leagues above anything we have now in the squad.......I'd value him at his prime at being worth more than Richarlison, Tosun and Gomez combined. Although I still want to be proved wrong and made to eat these words.
Very hard to put words in to print on this as it's just so blatant there is something terribly wrong with our club. I just hope we can get that old spirit and mentality back as Klopp seems to have done with Liverpool.

I wouldn’t want to be anything like the RS and their manager but then I’m a horribly bitter blue. Funny how the Wolves manager got sent off for celebrating but when Klopp did it in the derby it’s ‘passion or ‘the Klopp way’. Same with Salah blatantly cheating at the weekend. Nothing will be done.Silva and Tosun as we've already discussed, just why? A guy puts millions and millions of pounds in to the club and it is squandered like this? I think we're caught between a rock and a hard place in all honesty. Sack Silva, and we're back to square one with searching for a manager and have a squad that's a mix of Martinez's players, Koeman's, BFS players and then on top of that lot, Silva's buys. Although his (Brands?) buys have been to a better standard than the last few managers buys. The next problem? Who could we attract as another manager? And how much money do we spend on players for them? How long does the merry go round keep on before Moshiri thinks balls to this, and gets bored of funding us?
Or do we stick with Silva? The latest run of results have been awful! But, and it's a big but, we're only 3 points off 7th spot and have a (marginally) better goal difference than the teams above us. Realistically, would anyone expect to finish higher than 7th this season? Watford are 11 points and 13 goals worse off than United, and I really don't see anyone from United upwards dropping that many points for any of the chasing pack to grab 6th spot.
We're not going to go down, but how long does Moshiri stick with Silva if we keep losing games? And who would he get to replace him if he did pull the trigger? If we picked up a decent forward this month then we should be able to turn some of the results around and finish 7th. Possibly....

I just don’t like Silva, can’t put my finger on it. Maybe because he lacks pedigree or a winning history. I never really got the hype behind him.Or do we stick with Silva? I've said all along he wasn't my choice. I thought he did fairly well at Hull considering they were dead and buried when he got there, but he did bugger all at Watford to excite me. I honestly can't think of a manger that would come to us that I think would be an exciting signing. There's quite a lot of English managers in the lower leagues that I think could potentially do a good job, but no Premier League club would take a chance on them sadly

Surely you're talking from hindsight there? When Everton first approached Silva at Watford 8 games in, the football was exciting and the results were (frankly) incredible. However, the truth was available in plain sight in that run of results. A home 6-0 tonking from Man City, showing his glaring issue with defence. Insisting on zonal defence which clearly wasn't working.

Meh he's ok, but not a signing that would make me go puffy downstairs so he can stay at Watford and we'll all be happy
That was back in May when he took over as manager.I still think he did well at Hull, and he started off well at Watford and then it went pear shaped. The jury is out on him at the moment, like I said earlier, we're still only a few points off 7th which is the best we could hope for this season really

Any one brave enough to go to the Lions den , later,
its the only time ive been rather scared after a footy match after playing this lot,
and that was at Goodison in the cup in 1973, and we lost 2-0 ,it was like the Somme after the game .

I could have had my mates seat... in the home end as he's on holiday. Thought it was probably a bad idea. its the only time ive been rather scared after a footy match after playing this lot,

We're on poor mans telly which never happens!
