Def nothing to worry about especially as we have had some great results so all in all its been pretty good , we shall be meeting major opposition next weekend so we shall see how we get on with one of the big teams.

Freddie gone. RIP.

Mixed feelings about him, but he brought the best player we've had in a generation home as well as Sir Bobby and at least had some ambition with champions league a probability rather than a pipe dream. For those things he deserves some praise.

We held on well there.

Not a point I expected to get.

Well deserved point that. Shelvey & Merino worked well together I thought and Ritchie was yet again superb, what a shift he put in.

Great pass for the goal, the finishing however left a bit to be desired......, but they all count!

I’ll feel happier now not getting anything from that perennial pain in the arse that is a trip to Southampton now.

It's games like that we would usually capitulate.

Satisfied with that I think!

A game I wasn't expecting anything from so delighted with a point. I thought we were disciplined and defended well although we got lucky on a couple of occasions. As expected Liverpool had the lions share of the game but we still offered a threat going forward. Poor defending by them for the goal but overall, the tactics and performance were spot on.

We are looking fairly solid and a well balanced hard working team. An industrious midfield seems to be central to that with tireless work from all across the middle.
I do think that Joselu is still trying to gain confidence as his lack of it showed in his 1 on 1. Gayle was largely ineffective when he came on. A confident good striker could really make a difference.

Interesting having Amanda Staveley in the croud, did not know who she was when camera zoomed in on her and neither did the TV commentator.
Reckon perfect timing for Ashley to sell as crowd are jovial, we have a good manager and we are in a good position in the tables.

Not sure what to think about her being involved.

She was all over the Qatar/Barclays deal in around 2008/9, sued Barclays for some £700m last year, not yet got to court I don’t think on that front even though ex-Barclays directors involved in the same deal are now going to be up before the beak thanks to the SFO investigation and allegations that they didn’t play by the rules.

Not sure I’d want her anywhere near a deal for a sale.

There I was thinking things would improve, probably not the case.

Who is the client? She can't afford a club the size of Newcastle, she's a rich woman but she isn't that rich

per Sky she would be the broker not the buyer

Really?

She brokered the deal of Sheikh Mansour buying Man City.

Far too early to get excited about it as there's absolutely nothing concrete to go on - BUT if the dream of NUFC fans is to be bought by a group with serious money; then the presence of Amanda Staveley at St. James' Park could be considered as an intriguing development...

I don't think I've been as annoyed at a piece of muppetry as I was this afternoon. Two gifted goals, the second almost worthy of the "White Titus" moniker.

I know a point is a point and it's more than I expected from that place, but 3 points were there to take.

Irritating. Silly mistake by Lejeune. Apart from that, I thought he was ok. Good to see Perez doing something for a change.
