Crappy goal aside, there's effort there.

Wilson should have made the keeper work at least.

(would Dubs have got it)?
Think so.
We're playing better against Liverpool than City were.
We've had a couple of attempts at goal and City were 2 goals down by half time.

Weak goal, couple of deflections to be fair.
Do not have much faith in Wilson creating a goal, if a header comes his way he stands a chance but he looks really rusty.

I believe Dubravka saves that. I don't think Pope deserves to get back after the run Martin had. Wilson is so rusty.

That being said, 1-0 at half time. Anything can happen. HWTL.

Totally agree Dubravka should probably be playing.

I'd rather have Dubs in goal, as I think he offers more mobility than Pope.

Wilson never really going to trouble the Liverpool defence with pace, so it's comfortable for them.

Could this be the time for Osula to shine?

Yeah they really are so far up Liverpools hole at the moment, Salah especially.

Expected. Shame. Never really thought we'd get anything. They're unstoppable at the moment.

Can only hope we have a completely different game plan in two weeks time.

My only hope is champions league makes them keep a few out to rest for the final. Mind you they can probably relax a bit on the premier league now

I think we'll be a different proposition with Isak, Joelinton and Botman back.

Just said the same thing, we have some good players but to try and get a result against this lot at their place without those three was always a forlorn hope.

Agreed. We weren't shamed tonight albeit Liverpool felt well within themselves.

Hall excellent as usual, Bruno really quiet, oddly so, same with all our midfield really.

Liverpool are just really good this year but at least we tried this evening.

Was just thinking the same.
Willock played OK in Joelinton's place, Bruno seemed a little short of his usual self. Always liked Schar but he's only been 90% this season.
Lewis Hall a star, Lewis Miley getting stuck in, impressive. AG10 worked hard the full 90 mins, Murphy kept out of the game by their defence.
Wilson just no longer the star player he was and Osula needs time (and some lessons from Isak).

Hall again our best player. Dubs should have been in net, Schar showing his age. Wilson miles off it.

The final is after the CL games and right before an international break so I wouldn't expect anything other than a full strength side.

You'll be a much tougher challenge in the final if Isak is fit obviously.

Schar miles off it now by the looks of it.
