How does an automatic system take so long to work?

Unless the lad operating it had nipped out for a slash I don’t get how it took so long.

What the fk? I've been out since this morning and I check the score to see we're going to extra time and Gordon has been sent off!

I mean, wtf?

No complaints about the result, beaten by the better team.

Many complaints aimed towards Gordon though. Cretin.

Moment of stupidity after a series of hassling, he bought the bait.
Not sure if they were the better team, neither side were that good. There were some good moves but we seemed to happily give the ball away with some dreadful passing, I honestly didn't think they were going to score, looked like the couldn't hit a barn door at 10 paces.

For us, Dubravka, Tonali, Willock, Livramento, Barnes and Gordon (both first half only) and Isak were OK.
Don't think I'd be bringing Pope back yet, Joelinton needs more time, where's Botman?

Hmmm, so the only goal that the Toon scored was from a penalty and yet both Brighton goals came from open play. Not sure how that fits in with your hypothesis?

Bar Man City, FA cup looks wide open.

Another game where we looked well off our best, just hope we can pull out a special performance at Wembley (blind optimism!)

Lewis Hall out for the season. Not looking good for us at the moment.

Bad news, and we were already struggling in defence, he was just about the only consistent player in that part of the pitch. He'll be a big miss.

I hope we can pull a result but to be honest I'm a bit meh about the final at the minute.

Just need Isak to fall apart now for our three best performers to be missing for the final.

Might as well give them the trophy now sadly. We're down and out at this point. Gutted for Hall.
