Our window so far has been tragic. I'm happy with Elanga but sadly, it looks like that might be it.

United been looking at him for a while , since before the start of last season according to posts on United we stand from that period .Is it a case where the players manager says "We've had an offer fro you, I'll tout you around to see if there's a better offer forthcoming".

Come off it - Sesko, Gyokeres and Rodrygo have been banded around for a while with all sorts of clubs linked.Is it a case where the players manager says "We've had an offer fro you, I'll tout you around to see if there's a better offer forthcoming".

And I would have thought both the selling club and the agent will be seeing if there are better offers to be had.
Its frustrating but there is a pecking order in players minds - we lose players we want to keep/buy to the two Spanish clubs, you might lose players to us, City, chelsea etc, Brentford may lose players to you

Indeed. It does look like Sesko has been waiting on the MU bid at this point, though I've no idea how they can afford him having not managed to get rid of any of their dross yet this window and already spending £150m+.

If that happens (and it increasingly looks like it will), it will be very interesting to see how he reacts. He can’t down tools because he needs to keep himself in the shop window, but being committed and unhappy aren’t bedfellows. SWoll said:

tty old NUFC, bless him.I think United didn't initially bid as they wanted confirmation from the player he was open to joining us. Removes the need for the bidding war, and also allowed us to see what Newcastle would bid.
Just upto the player now and deciding where he would like to go.
As a united fan i would rather we sign a central midfielder, but Sesko was on their list and perhaps Newcastle has forced their had in bidding.
