I am not sure 110 plus add ons taking it to around 120, an EPL record, could be considered a bargain. The 150 number has been thrown about but has that been confirmed by MUFC as the asking price?
I think it's fairly well understood that nufc don't want to sell and if they did, the price is 150.Liverpool offered 110 knowing it would be rejected but just to add fuel to the fire.
I'd guess they would want to agree a price around 120 and Newcastle would take 140.
If everyone was being grown up about this, NUFC would accept 140, sign Wissa for 40 and Jackson for 60. It'd all be done behind closed doors and without agent leaks breaking down the chain.
It always makes me laugh when reading about players wanting to leave and the fans reaction.
If a player wants out , let him go. It's like any job really, what's the point in an unhappy employee. Max out the transfer for sure , but keeping is pointless.
As fans we have loyalty to the club , and yes while some players will have it , others couldn't give a toss. It's a job, as simple as that.
And the club wants it all ways , expects loyalty and devotion from a player , unless they don't rate the player and then trys to sell , or freezes then out. Dumping in the reserved , training with the kids etc .
The latter of the club being awful is the more common situation.
Sell and move on. Time for new hero's, the way it's always been

I largely agree. However, tanking your own value by refusing to play and insisting on a move to a specific club is doing nobody any favours - player or club.If a player wants out , let him go. The issue here is that replacing him is obviously proving a major problem.
Had Ekitike, Jaoa Pedro or Sesko chosen the club over others tthen I'm sure the Isak deal would already have been agreed?
And how is Isak refusing to play helping that situation? Hardly gives the warm and fuzzies to incoming players and inflates the price of targets, all without knowing what Liverpool will pay, so how much they have to spend.Had Ekitike, Jaoa Pedro or Sesko chosen the club over others tthen I'm sure the Isak deal would already have been agreed?
It's a huge mess, and nobody is coming out of this looking good or likely getting what they want.

May be may be not, I am waiting and looking forward to us signing a striker or two so we can see how this whole saga developes, I think there are more twists left in this sorry situation, we shall see.Had Ekitike, Jaoa Pedro or Sesko chosen the club over others tthen I'm sure the Isak deal would already have been agreed?
Not finding a replacement isnt his concern. So sell anyway.
If you don't sell and he mopes about, ruins moral and doesn't play anyway , what good is that ?
And the reality is , if he does that , some other club will still buy him and pay him 250k a week.
Players have killed people , raped, been inside and still get new deals. Downing tools won't hurt him

Exactly. I can't see the club actively stopping him from leaving, we don't want bad apples poisoning the dressing room but getting £150 million or similar for him means nothing to us until we have a replacement. Making Liverpool stronger and us weaker while sitting on a load of cash in the bank doesn't help the club progress. We can sell him if we can get Wissa and another good striker who has the potential to become the next Isak. Without that, he's going to be sitting at home playing Fifa or sulking while watching Newcastle play on Sky Sports. Had Ekitike, Jaoa Pedro or Sesko chosen the club over others tthen I'm sure the Isak deal would already have been agreed?
A couple of good signings in the next week or two and I can see Liverpool come back with an improved offer. To get more cover and depth, I'd happily take one of their players as partial payment too. Harvey Elliot would thrive under Howe.

I have never down tools, or not fulfilled the obligations required of me when I am leaving
He is meant to be a professional footballer. Zero excuses
He had 3 years running on his contract. The div should have had a release clause put in. Then again I think he has seriously narked off the PIF who will probably make an example of him.

What players move against their own wishes because their agent wants them to?
None, it’s not a case of an agent saying “come on, you’re off”, it’s an agent subtly drip feeding rumour and gossip into their clients ear and unsettling him or sowing seeds of doubt.“I can’t believe X have broken their promises, that’s outrageous, I can get you a big pay rise, I just heard from X they want you and will pay you much more” etc etc

His naivety is breathtaking. If he knew Liverpool would maybe bid £130m+. Fine do what you want. Now he is fecked if they don't come in. “I can’t believe X have broken their promises, that’s outrageous, I can get you a big pay rise, I just heard from X they want you and will pay you much more” etc etc

Well done you , but that's your choice.
His career might only be 15 years in total , so he does what's right for him. A better option comes along , a bigger and more successful club where he has the chance to win the league, champions league etc, and make a load more money. Do you blame him ?
He doesn't need to keep his word or reputation intact for a next contract , he's a star and so can act like a diva.
And actually , would be great if PIF made an example , but he'd take his money sitting on the bench or playing Xbox and the clubs reputation to potential players would take a hit.
If you were a potential player , would you sign knowing they might hardball your contact , or sign for club who you know are flexible and amicable.

Moving out of his house is just comical, as was putting it on the market while supposedly injured having travelled to Spain.
Has he? That is professional sulking

Yes he has moved out apparently, came across his merc twice last week, Tuesday in Benton and Wednesday on the A696 the whole distance from the airport to the end of the road on the outside lane as could see his bright lights through my mirrors, my thought was who is this total knob as the inside lane was quiet at the time.
He caught up at the traffic lights and I realized who it was and thought no wonder.
