Shapeless and indirect, save for one moment.

Not a good look.

Don’t worry lads, Arsenal away next weekend. A great chance to bounce back.

Er, we are safe, right...?!
Easily, before Spurs kicked off 12 points clear of relegation.
Although it is 30 years this season since you were 12 points clear in the race for the title so who knows, be a canny anniversary biggrin

Amazing its 30 years, bet Kevin still kicks himself over all that happened that season.
Anyone knows what the latest is with Kevin ?

Eddie sadly ran out of ideas with us in year 4/5, looks likes the same's happening again, it really is deja vu.

Interesting that Iraola didn't want the same to happen so has decided to move on after year 3, on the crest of Europe of all things.

Mixed feelings today as we felt we put the knife into our old gaffer.

What s actually happened to Botman? He s starting to look like he s never played football before.
TBH if I was stuck wearing the mask of Zorro and worried about another whack in the face I'd be circumspect too. Not sure why is out there.
Just watched the Sky 1/2 hour "highlights", I think we've lost so many games this season that it's playing on the players minds, they've lost confidence.
Seen it happen so many times before. Just one good win, or maybe two and confidence returns but it's breaking the spell that's the hard part.

Just my ramblings but:
Gave it lot of thought this morning while out for a run, we just need to see this season out, then there needs to be a big clear out over the summer with thoughts to re engineer a team next season in readiness for the season after which seems a long way away..
Next season 26/27 will be another season of mid table win and lose form while a new team is created.
Set it up around Osula and Elanga with maybe Barnes if he wants to stay.
Mid field with Miley, Ramsey, Bruno and Tonali if they want to stay and at the back, Hall if he wants to stay, with Thiaw again if he wants to stay.
Goal: Ramsdale but he needs to take a few lessons from Pickford about organising his defence.

Gordon wants out, Woltemade just doesn't fit any UK team plan and should go back to Europe, Thiaw, his mate, may want to go too. Botman is finished he is becoming injury prone and BDB is getting on but a good back up. Tino too just seems to be too injury prone. Schaar, not sure, age is against him. Joelinton just goes looking for a fight but may be worth a seat on the bench to bolster midfield, defence or even back in his old position of a forward if needed. Nick Pope looks to be worried about his shoulder injury. Who else? Wissa, just haven't seen enough of him to make judgement. Murphy (J) looks disillusioned when he comes on with no one there to cross to and no obvious plan to follow.

It's been a tough to watch season and I doubt if next (26/27) will be any better but with careful management and a few decent buys we could see a decent 27/28. Will Eddie still be there, maybe not. Not sure he want's to continue at SJP but it's up to him, not the crowd baying for blood. Or the backroom owners, support staff etc who I believe are hindering him.

And finally, those who booed the team at half time need to give their heads a wobble. The lads are lacking confidence, struggling to get a result, and you lot aren't helping. You're supposed to be supporters, fking support them.

I'm not looking forward to next weeks game, away to Arsenal but maybe, just maybe the lads will surprise us.

To be fair it was only Woods second goal of the season.
Elliot Anderson has been a star this season, the one that got away that should have been retained.

We look somewhat threatening. So much better with Bruno in the team.

More shots at the a target but most very wide
Arsenal very fluid in their play and we're to trying to copy them
Appreciate he's a target to aim for but BDB for a full back is sometimes the furthest forward. And Osula needs to move more central.

The midfield has to run up when we attack as happened a couple of times when osula is the only one up there even though they had time to support.

Midfield but BDB isn't fast enough to get back as a defender

Thankfully I have to go out, but it is with great relief that we have enough points on the board, otherwise we’d be relegation fodder.
