We played well first half but crap the second half, Wissa redeemed himself by pressing and creating the error for the third.
Pope is a good shot stopper and very bad kicker and when he has time to think he always goes for the wrong decision.

At least the notion of being part of the relegation battle can be put to bed now. Unless we don’t pick up another point and Spurs win all their remaining games.

Yeah but we'd still have to finish below WH, who can get to the same points as us, but they'd also have to overturn a -17 GD. Not gonna happen.

But we are in no mans land in the league. There's only one thing left to fight for - finishing above the neighbours...

Not entirely true.

We’ve got a game against the Hammers and could take one ‘for the good of football’…………………

Didn't think of that.

What a conundrum...

Need to find out what bedtime stories Howe reads to the team at half time, or what lullabys he sings them, could be handy for me getting the kids to sleep, whatever he's doing works wonders on the team after they come out from the break.

Christ Pope is a liability. FFS.
He sure is, also cannot kick a ball to save his life, probably best if he aims to the centre of the pitch smile
His shot stopping and reaction time is great but his getting the ball out terrible. So many goals this season, across all teams I have watched, have come from 'keeper errors, rolling the ball out only to be intercepted by an attacker. Get the ball back up field, and Pope cannot do that accurately.

Some good work by Jacob Murphy who seems to be getting back on form and Lewis Hall too when he came on. And BDB just love to see him on the pitch.

3 points is 3 points although at 1-1 I was beginning to say "here we go again"

I wasn't able to watch yesterday but got tyhe extended highlights today. We looked good in the first half, nice pacy attack. Looks like they fought back a lot in the second half so can only imagine how nervy that must have felt.

Nice to return to winning ways and (almost certainly) removed that relegation discussion. Mad how there's still only 6 points to European places

biggrinbiggrin His dodgy stream probably went off on 20 mins and came back on after an hour and he didn't realise Burn had scored biggrin

Fat fingers like Andrew
2-1 and they were starting to fight back. Historically this season we seem to fall asleep at about the 60 min mark.

I've been asleep way before the 60 minute mark this season.

He’s having a rotten run.
