Typical plastic fan attitudes, actually wanting your team to lose. From a team who all you have really achieved in modern history is come runners up.... twice! Newcastle are a massive club..... in Newcastle.
Didn't Spurs fans cheer when City scored against them as they didn't want Arsenal to win the title a few years ago?Terry Winks said:

Losing a game at this point is essentially meaningless for Newcastle, no chance of relegation or Europe and will quickly be forgotten.Spurs getting relegated on the other hand would be something to enjoy daily for a year at least.

First Toon transfer could be Gordon to BM. Apparently, terms are agreed and just need to determine the fee (£75MM?)
Find it odd that terms are agreed before the fee is agreed with the club. Isn't that the wrong way round?!Question is, will anyone shed a tear over Gordon leaving?

I don't think I'll be sad to see him go but I wish him well. Hes a good player but I don't think he's an outstanding one. He had more promise than what he has fulfilled. His penalty goals pad out his record for us. Question is, will anyone shed a tear over Gordon leaving?

I'm thankful for his service and he has been a good player for us. I wish him well but if we can get £70m plus then it's great business for us.

Pretty much this. He's a good player but not great. I think he'll suit European football more than he does Premier League football to be honest. He struggles to break down low blocks along with the rest of the team. He should do well playing teams that attack and have a go hence why he's had a good Champion's League return but looks a bit more average in the Premier League, penalties aside.

I agree with your comments re good biz for Toon and wish him well. Curiously, the pundits I’ve heard make comment about the possible Gordon move, see him only as a bench warmer for Champions League and he would play the majority of his football in the Bundesliga. He might be able to push himself into the CL lineup with better performances than we’ve seen this season but I have my doubts.I'm thankful for his service and he has been a good player for us.
